- Happy New Year! Before we officially launched this podcast, we recorded a few episodes in case we couldn't get new ones out each week. This one was recently "recovered" from a corrupted drive... car crashes, tsunamis and other cool stories to start 2022 with a bang! New year, same us (but Tony Hawk got his voice back).

Much respect to you both for paying for gear you could easily get free. You both are supporting the industry that puts food on the table. Side note : Steve VanDoren is such a kick ass staple in the community, I've heard so many good things about him.
i was working at the state fair for a company that assembled stages and did sound/lights/security for events. one of tony's tours came through i'm guessing maybe 2010ish, i got to assemble the ramp for the show and was working security. saw tony walking around backstage by himself and pretty close to me. i would've liked to say hello and thank him for being there, but i didn't want to be a bother as i'm sure he gets it all the time. huge fan of the show and both of you guys, keep it up. happy new year

Loved the skatepark tours back in the 90's watched them all. Ellis doing the hanging in the rafters was sick. The skatepark tours and the videogames got me into skateboarding and now I've done it for 20 years

Snake session stories are the best! I remember the night the Skate Zone ramp opened. It was also the Propaganda video premiere so every pro and sponsored skater of the time was there. The ramp session was crazy and there were at least 5 people skating the ramp at any given time. Except when Tony dropped in. He was the only skater that got the ramp to himself.

Super fun show. Found you animals again in 2022 here, via the Bertcast appearance. Always been a dirty skate rat (Baker 3 era heh) so obviously I shit myself when I found out 1. you two of all people hang out all the time, 2. you guys have a damn show 3. its funny as fuck!!

This is one of my favorite podcasts. I love it. But I sure do hate when they do this out of order stuff .this was filmed several months ago. It's just don't go with the flow of the more recently filmed episodes. It's most like because of the holidays. Either way keep up the good work guys. You're killing it.
