I love when Tony is telling what, to so many, is an incredible story, then worries about ranting or going down the rabbit hole. Hawk Vs. Wolf is always a good listen.
This is the funniest crap. TH-cam auto-play decided this was gonna be in ears and the whole office has been treated to a few stupid guttural laughs. Keep it up Tony and Jason, this is the best.
This show guy me through one of the worst times of my life (pop passed) through sheer radness. I can put all episodes on auto and be stoked just chillin with Tony and Jason. Quality goods my dudes. I dig it the most. All hail and thank you from the Brown.
Love the show guys. Hey Tony, I spent my high school years in Temecula when you lived in Fallbrook. You signed my Tracker t-shirt at some launch ramp contest there back in 87-88 or around there. Could always see your ramps too driving down that highway from the 15 towards Oceanside hahaha. Jason you are hilarious AF, the kind of dude who'd be fun as hell to go have a drink with. keep it up fellas!
Jason it’s not ur bad by itself you just bring a different show with Tony that might appeal to more wide audience:)))) one the funniest duos on the list top 3 in my opinion
Thanks for being consistent with this podcast. It’s become one of my favorite things to watch on anything tv, Netflix, TH-cam whatever this is great to listen to period.
I love Ellis. I think hes great. I saw him as the master of ceremonies at nitro circus live and he stole the show. And Tony is the man. Great podcast bc youre both way more dynamic than just skateboarding.
Lovin the podcast!! Lovin the daily life stories mixed with epic skate stories, mixed with just random babble, it's ALL GOOD :) Thanks to the whole team making this possible!!!!!
There’s so much truth in not thinking about worst case. Like just this week I started learning back lips, and I just couldn’t think about shooting out or getting pitched. Cause as soon as I thought it, I got pitched. So much of skateboarding is, just committing and seeing yourself rolling away. BTW I definitely learned em….
I lost it during the whole "I kicked my skateboard into my wife." bit. OMG...that was exactly what I needed on a Monday morning. 🤣🔥 This whole episode had me laughing so hard. You guys have such great chemistry. Love it!
Love this, been busting my ass on ever slicks, I forgot you have to land over the top and not at an angle. When we get back to normal you guy's should tour. Maybe get Riley's band and Gatecreeper, Chase skates too.
That's just mental. I'm the opposite with tre flips. I can only land them half the time on flat but over a hip or gap when I have more time to rotate it's easier
@@thedonofthsht76-58 definitely overthinking it fosho for me when I do 50/50 kickflip out im always too concentrated on getting my feet positioned correctly. even when they are perfectly in kickflip position I often land them more when my feet are in wonky ass positions or at least more centered less toe. Again probably overthinking it which Is why some days ill land it first try and other days it takes me 20. Same thing with treflips constantly overthink positioning trying way too hard.
I'm 36, I rage quit at the beginning of the summer in front of another old guy and a bunch of kids doing a nose grab to fingerflip out of the bowl to flat. No crazy cussing or anything like that, just slamming the board and helmet on the ground. Coming back to skating after 14 years off the board.
in some Karate and or Taekwondo contests its about precision and technique, most of the time with a point scoring system. Its not about knockouts but a display of control and skill. In the streets that KO wouldve be closed deal. In this case its to aggressive which in taekwondo means lack of control of the mind which is a part of your toolset in fighting. I understand this way of thinking and doing but i agree. Knock out is a knock out. Source - i do taekwondo
I still watch free lunch from time to time. Walks down memory lane. It would be sick to see the raw footage reedited now that longer content works in skating sometimes these days.
They are talking about flow. Knowing when to think and when not to think. Sometimes, thinking about what you are doing, is going to fuck your mind up. You slam and end your day or the next couple months. Flow. Doing something, without thought. It's why some people listen to music when they ride.
the other interesting part of olympic skating was the, very welcome, lack of corporate bullshit everywhere. no sports or soft drink banners plastered everywhere.
Mainly with you guys, holistically, on the Simone conversation, but she identified herself and flaunted herself as the GOAT. She kinda set up her own scenario, or at least the network set her up.
Take all Hosoi's achievements back! Did he really NEED to throw a super tweaked Method on those High Air attempts? - The Olympic judges that took that Gold in the Medal finals..
You compliment each other well, it's a good thing, don't ever stop ever,,,, EVER!

Love this show, it’s so funny to see this side of tony being all loose and funny, so use to his professional side doing interviews

Binging & binging & binging!!! Damn, I ❤ this podcast!!!
When Larry King said "You're not Jewish" I think he was joking, meaning you are not 'Kosher'.
I actually DID miss you guys quite a bit!
I legit saw the new episode uploaded and cheered! I'm loving the podcast! Keep up the good work, you two!
I love Ellis. I think hes great. I saw him as the master of ceremonies at nitro circus live and he stole the show. And Tony is the man. Great podcast bc youre both way more dynamic than just skateboarding.
Ellis is awesome, dudes a true inspiration, such a great outlook on things for such a former screwup.

Never been a skateboarder never really paid attention to it. Great podcast, entertaining, and a remedy to some of my ignorance. Good shit
Also, the Wolf would've lost all respect if he didn't explain Buttsnorkling to Larry King.. LMFAO! You guys are Rad!
Farking love it such a top shelf pair keep on keeping on legends...
Even the ads are great 🤣 love the show
New fav comedy podcast. Y’all gotta be on Bad Friends!!!

I fucking love this podcast - so happy I found it … always makes me laugh 💯 keep it up lads👍
Kickflips are so strange you can do them a thousand times in a row on flat but the second you add it to anything it becomes 1000x harder.
That's just mental. I'm the opposite with tre flips. I can only land them half the time on flat but over a hip or gap when I have more time to rotate it's easier

Such a great way to end a show, haha!
This is coming from a bmx rider....
Shows sick! Keep it up!
Jason, would be sick to see some MMA guest too.
Which episode number is this?
I'm Aussie and I'm biased....Ellis had the best and most insane frontside Ollies in the bis....And I'm pissed there's no TH-cam proof!!!😡
He did! There was a video on here years ago.. it looked like a backyard vert ramp, he was doing them over and over higher and higher every time!
@@dannesser Dude I remember like ads in mags...NO ONE frontside ollie like Ellis!!!
He owns that trick on vert!!!
Never listened to Ellis on xm bc I didnt have it. So happy these are on spotify and TH-cam. Been a skate rat for more than half my life!
get the videos on spotify PLEASE
