Been meaning to watch an episode, but Rodney was an instant must-watch. Now I'm hooked. Hawk and Ellis is a great dynamic, and Hawk with Mullen is always magical. Ellis is a way chiller and more insightful dude than I was expecting. Well, that's what people say about me these days if they only knew me 15 years ago. The Mullen stories were amazing. I hope they have him on again; they barely scratched the surface, but there was a lot of great stuff. Man, if Mullun put out something like Hawk's 50 at 50, that would be a real treat; the whole world would watch that. Thanks to Tony for subtly suggesting that. He might have to give us 60, though!
Skating is amazing! I'm 38 and love my few times a month at the Charm City Skatepark in Baltimore and York PA outdoor park. Sometimes my kids even want to come. Living the dream!!
Oh yes, I am one of those who got inspired by seeing you old crazies stil shreding to get back on the board after 17 years... Bought myself birdhouse falcon complete board for 37th birthday and I am loving it. I am feeling so much better now that Im back on that board. Cheers from Croatia

I'm into mma and you're "prime" is known to be 30-33 usually but I can't believe I didnt know tony was 31 in 99 when he the 900. It makes sense obviously bc he was an 80s skater but back then he was just a kid like us. Still is!!
I listen to your podcast on Spotify on my one hour each way commute. I grew up riding bikes and not skateboards growing up in Alaska (the ramps suffered from the affects of permafrost and were always janky and dirt on every surface). I love how into the weeds you guys get. I have seen enough skating and play enough THPS to keep up with most of the trick descriptions and love to hear your perspective on the sport. Please keep it up and FU Jason!
skating as a culture has developed in a cool way, I am even seeing a lot of my friends my age just getting into skating, seeing a bunch of parents at the park learning with their kids is pretty rad and heart warming, the skate crews seem to be a bit less gate-keepery than when I started skating in the 90's
I almost teared up towards the end with how wholesome you guys are - I started skating a few months ago at 28 for the first time with a longboard, and have started to get into skateboarding as well. I have no dream of ever getting "good" but man I am loving it and it has brought me so much joy. Seeing people older than me passionate about skating gets me so hyped. I love that this really can be a space for everyone
Hawk and Wolf are making my day so much better hobbling to work from jumping a skate park fence....not even a trick....i landed the blunt fingerflip the fractured foot jumping off the 12 ft fence
I did the saddest slam on a 2 foot high wippy quarter doing a rock fake by a tennis court. Concrete hand slaps. Laid there wondering if I would ve able to grab the steering wheel of the car to drive 5 mins home to cry. Took an hour before I could. Love the podcast.
This podcast puts the biggest smile on my face! ..every episode. I listen to a lot of podcasts (almost all comedy) but I find myself laughing more and just genuinely enjoy this one the most!

I LOVE this show! So Tony, I live in Seattle, and visit Tucson AZ for Christmas every few years. 45 is about their normal in the evenings, and I go out in T-shirt and shorts (I'm just shy of 50) to troll the locals. 45 isn't NOT T-shirt weather if you're used to it.
Hey guys, love the show. Just a few friendly suggestions! It'd be great to see the wide shot of both of you more often to see how you to react to each other's stories etc. instead of bouncing back and forth as often. Also, I think it's the lighting, or the table set up.. but it almost makes the room feel a bit stuffy.. like an office building somewhere (minus all the sweet decks of course). No disrespect! It might make you guys (and the viewers) more comfortable with some softer light, and some more laid back chairs etc... make it feel more like a hang, less like a day job! Anyways, glad you're doin these. Always worth a laugh! Cheers guys, keep at it 👍👍
Where in Michigan? I lived in Petoskey and Skated that Park little metal quarter pipes back in 2005 I also skated Harbor springs SK-8park few times it was better with a little wood half pipe and street set up. I did a little street ska8ing down by the water front in Petoskey they had a good set of stairs. I did see the Traverse sk8park that was concrete wanted 2 hit it up never did cuz they had a tall fence around it and I think it was locked up for some reason maybe because the locals had tagged it up and city was punishing them, I'm pretty sure that's the story I got from a local, But I was traveling around looking 4 different light houses 2 see around Michigan. One of my Favorite States in the U S. Oh and my top favorite SB Dunk Highs are the Colab with Petoskey sk8 shop, the Petoskey stone 3M print on them is sick. Sk8=D!
@@ALLofYOU2 Whaoh sick man! I'm in south east area. Monroe. In Royal Oak there is Modern Skate and Surf it's been there since 1979. We met Foy last week and Hosoi a few years ago. Its indoor There's a few good parks near me cement now and I'm close to Toledo so we have that when we can get down there. KZoo skate Zoo in Kalamazoo was always fun in winter. I love up north though for chilling. My dad used to have land in Iron Mountain.
i had to rewind tony slam a few times. its like skateboardings version of a shark attack. you see her board circle around and go out of frame. next thing you know, boom. stoked everyone came out ok and she got her trick.
