Imagine the feeling of not only skating with Tony on a weekly basis but him also giving you the keys to one of the best vert ramps in the world? Love seeing Ellis be a fan with his reaction.
@@nickma1422 the best at kickflip melons and that's it. Not even confident enough in himself to do that at the Lyon steps without football pads underneath his clothes.
The stories at the end of this episode were great. LOL Everyone knows touring skateboarders are chaos but the stories in this ep confirmed all hotel cleaners greatest fears. XD
Even though it’s been two decades since I’ve been on a street/trick board (still long board to the beach however) getting to find this podcast makes me so happy. I’ve always loved and respected both theses dudes, just didn’t know how much joy together they could create. What a gem.
Brossss. You guys gotta up ur thumbnail game. You gotta have pics of the guest on, screenshots of the pod, headliners, etc!!! Luv u dudes keep these up 🔥
Hey, Jason + Tony, prog rock fan here. The genre is super diverse, but in general it's like rock music with expanded instrumentation, song structure, song length, higher concept, etc. Pink Floyd (especially Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and Animals) are the most well-known prog rock band, but other big ones from the early 70s (when the genre was most popular) are Yes, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, and Genesis (with Peter Gabriel). Modern prog bands would be artists like Dream Theater, Opeth, and Steven Wilson.
Holy shit I have never heard tony hawks voice outside of his scripted lines in his games and the cameos he made in movies and shows back in the day. And him and Ellis doing this on their own is crazy respectable. Never thought I’d be into this!
When I got S cargo in Paris it was served in the shell and they were the special little tongs to hold the shell and then another little tool to reach in and pull the snail out lol
It's just so funny to me how tony had one of the most banger soundtracks in videogame history, which included primus, and he didn't realize what prog was. Gotta love the guy.
H-street holy shit mat henslys board with the guy sitting on floor infront window grafix was one my favorite boards an that was my introduction to Ocean Howell. who was one the smoothest street skaters ever
Listened too the band as soon as I heard Lennon. THAT SHIT IS INSANELY GOOD!!! If you like them Moon Pigeons is really good. I like the term Acid rock instead of prog rock. But that’s just my opinion :)
I was never a skateboarder(don't have the balance so fucked around on bikes) but have always always always been around the sport/media of it and always been amazed and interested in it's culture as well. Been a huge fan of these dudes/the culture since I was shitting my pants.
jeson needs ot turn that tony hawk key top into a 100k neck piece for it to be balling, functional and an actual flex.....there was was anything worth getting a chain piece designed to be around it would be a key to tony hawks private facility
Frog legs did not taste like chicken 2 me, I got a totally different flavor, Now RaTtLesNaKe did 2 me! And AlligAtOr Has a distinct flavor as well, MuDdY. OH AND YA PROBABLY PASS WITH JASON ON THE BUtT of the SpiDeR, would Be a HaRd ONe.
I hate Danny Way. He literally beat a gay man to death, that already had a brain injury, for hitting on him at a bar. If you’re going to have him on here, I’m absolutely unsubscribing. It’s wild because I’ve always thought Jason and Tony were good people, but good people don’t kick it with murderers It’s pretty embarrassing to see you guys glorify a homophobic murderer after I’ve recommended your show to friends. I will definitely never tell anybody about the show anymore
Ellis getting his own key 🔑 was such a wholesome moment 🥰 I fucking love you dudes x
I love too how he perfectly he setup that moment ON ACCIDENT. XD
I love how Jason is such a madman and so humble at the same time, whatta beaut :)
He puts himself down a bit too much tbh, needs to give himself the same props he gives others.
This podcast is a gift from the skate gods
Hearing Birdman was doing demos for $100 in 1997 makes you respect his success that much more!

Such a chill conversation as always. Much more than the sum of its parts. Gunna be huge soon enough.
Id love to see Jaws come on here, hes present on youtube and hes also a Birdhouse member
Why? He would just kickflip melon and that would be the episode. All he knows.

Great show as always, best part of my week.
I love how Tony just casually namedrops the coolest people without trying or realizing he's doing it because in his world that's normal.

I wonder if Tony ever pops down to have a look in the comments and things to himself god what am I doing here
