Are you losing power just by using the wrong fuel? - BMW M2 N55 Tuning! Part 1

BMW M2 that came into our workshop for Stage 1 tuning package. Which ran into some peak figure related issues which were pinpointed to poor quality fuel!
Every engine is different - certain engines are more sensitive to lower octane fuels, of which the N55 is one of them! Part 2 will be shot if the customer returns with 99Ron fuel.

Do you find the panel filter makes a difference? Any loss of low torque? And it still filters well? Most are saying the stock box flows well. If I went with one I'd go AFE dry panel. Thanks

Also do you tell customers to fill with 98? I think it's a good idea to do so. I've seen a guy gutted at the Dyno as he filled with regular 95 and he lost the potential of the tune.

His local fuel station, not all of us are so lucky to live near a Tescos or Shell!
Its all noted on our tuning pages, but what you can find is people just fill up for the remap day, then go back to 95 :/

Hey enjoying your vids bro, ive heard some people say even tesco 99 is not that great as they add something to it to get to 99? I only use v power as dont want to risk it

Nothing wrong with tesco 99, every good tuner like wg will only recommend shell v power or tesco 99, I personally have always ran tesco and never had a problem with tuning on my cars whilst running it and that includes a mapper that Warren at wg works with, and recently just had my focus rs tuned on the same fuel and again had absolutely no issues with it, stay away from BP ultimate it's dog shit and esso supreme99 is a bit hit and miss so stay clear of that too

All 99 ron fuel has octane booster added to make it 99 ron. It's not 99 ron when it's refined.
