- One of the side effects of Adderall is what it can do to your sex drive, here is my experience with this since I use Adderall to help with my adhd. Always consult a doctor when it comes to how meds affect you.

I took adderall for 7 years or so and definitely agree about the very high libido. I felt horny all the time and then over time I felt I couldn’t finish during sex, as my member felt numb.
Similar experience here. 9 years of taking Adderall. I tend to be a workaholic now and can pass on dating pretty easily.
Adderall does the exact opposite for me and many others

It does do the things he is saying, but it’s also a vasoconstrictor which thins the blood vessels and redirects blood flow to your brain. You have high libido but if you can’t focus during or if you’re not comfortable you’ll have a harder time performing because of the physical effects. If you don’t usually have an issue, it’s all a mental game

I've been on ritalin for a year and my libido has completely disappeared. I don't know what to do apart from come off them in the hopes it returns to normal.
Have you talked to your doctor about it?

Yes, ask the doctor. Some people take less or none on weekends.
You should be happy about that, being horny should be seen as negative thing. I can think much more clearly when not horny and allows me to excel in the areas that I see as more important, such as advanced mathematics or computer programming. Being horny is a very selfish human state and stops alot of people from achieving the things in life that they could have. Any human that actually cares about humanity is currently working on finding cures for cancer, alzheimers, working on AI, making robotic prosphetics for innocent people born without limbs ect.

when I was on ritalin I was high with sex drive Idk sometimes when I was down and nothing to do ritalin gives me watch corn 1,2 hours I can control maybe idk what to do if I should go back on ritalin for my adhd and collage ?
and is it bad for me to continue using or learn to control any advice ?
I would get with your therapist be open about the side effects you experienced and trial and error with them. I’m not an expert by any means but this is what I would do
@@EricBZink thx Ill do that but its just sometimes get imposter syndrome about like u dont have adhd and using these drugs make you worse and get anxious about it Is that happen to you too ?

Learn to compose sentences better. You'll think clearer. Stop using your phone so much
Adderall for me, was great for sex. But as time went on it stopped working. I turned 40. TRT has worked

I used to drink like a fish on adderall but wasn’t particularly horny. I loved adderall, it’s dangerous af though

... i started googling on this topic tonight, because I've been on Methylphindate since 5 weeks now (diagnosed at 38), I went like thorugh most of the side effects already and I'm happy to say that most/all have already vanished. But now I found myself nutting one off for 4-5 hours the last two days. I'm in physical and mental pain now, because that was so exhausting and somewhat shameful.
But I felt a little bit of relief, that this seems to be a common issue with the medication. And I'm happy you said that this too shall pass. But I find a little bit of a contradiction in your (and others) argumentation: When your brain finally has the dopamine it was desperately needing through methylphenidat - why is it so that it still wants to produce more? I fell like all of my addictive behaviours became worse.
I consume more media, more nicotine, more porn ... you name it. In my mind I thought the need for these things would drastically decrease on the medication?!
