I was taught to NEVER accept lipspread (eg, when pronouncing the "e" sound.) I had to touch the corner of my mouth with a little finger so as to feel and therefore correct the offending widening. 60 years on and a second language my flat midlands vowels remain
yo I just tried to do this and felt like i was gonna die, because I sat the pen too far back in my bite, forcing my tongue to hold very far back in my mouth lol pretty sure I'm not supposed to gag myself doing this so I checked our instructor's example again and see that she seats the pen at the front of her bite allowing for maximum tongue space whether that is above, below, or just in general after the much more comfortable reattempt, I think that so long as you're trying to avoid the pen with your tongue, the tongue position is correct and the exercise is pretty neat
Basically put the pencil close to the front of your mouth (your tounge can move freel) then do the exercise if the pencil falls out of your mouth or you simply cannot do it bring the pencil forwards😊

Also, when I speak, I find some words hard to pronounce even tho I could clearly pronounce in my head and when I start talking fast, I intend say gibberish words at some point( don’t know if you get me). How can I change that? Learn how to speak with a clear good voice, pronounce words correctly without getting entangled in between and having to slowly say the word again and not speak and stop between sentences? I face the same problem. I was born with a cleft palate and I face issues with articulation despite having my surgery done. My voice is also nasal, also like you said, you pronounce the words correctly but it actually sounds gibberish, this happens to me too. And it also sounds like I have a lot of saliva in my mouth even when my mouth is clear. I went to see a speech therapist, she said that speech therapy is most effective when the child is young (bc the muscles are still in the development stage). But I'm getting speech therapy done anyway. It's been almost 3 months already, but I see only a slight difference (my voice is still nasal). Don't know if I would be able to get rid of this problem completely 🙂

You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!
i'm sorry, however there is also the lenght of certain syllabels which should be respected as to ascertain an audibly correct word, for example an "e" is pronounced just like that, however a double e (ee) should be pronounced longer, therefore in the word beetle, it shouldn't be pronounced as Bittle, but as bee(long)tle
