    How do you make the most feared bounty hunter in the Galaxy even MORE of a badass? Have him crawl his way out of a Sarlacc Pit while covered in acid burns, then have him be severely dehydrated, beaten by Tuskens, scorched by the twin suns of Tatooine, and nearly killed by a hybrid of Goro and Reptile from Mortal Kombat. Boba Fett will just walk it off, choke that creature to death and give a badass victory pose.

And also took no shit from her and her helper. I don’t like the direction they’re going with this one. Boba is no hero based off of respect. Also this episode felt really cheap. @@THEBESTVIDEOSEVER1 he may not have been about respect as you say but people can change. Also, Boba isn’t a hero anyways. He’s a prior bounty Hunter and wannabe crime lord. You can still be a hardened bad ass and earn respect. Part of me would've preferred Boba to remain a mystery and the other part will definitely enjoy this. The first episode was not bad, although slightly underwhelming compared to how the Mandalorian started. All being said, I appreciate being back in that world.

      All of me wished that the show was 99xs better! I'm sorry, but u guys actually enjoyed this episode? I'm a huge Mando fan and overall Star Wars fan but I gotta say...this was horrible, just horrible! Whatever happened 2 a gripping plotline and captivating action/fight scenes!? Is this supposed 2b a parody or something? I mean come on guys, seriously...no one else saw this garbage 4 what it really is and that's a rushed, unpolished, pointless piece of waste of digital media!?

      Really? That bad huh! … I thought it was ok on its own, but when you compare it to Mando, you’ll probably find it a little underwhelming, missing the WTF moment …. All that being said, it’s only the first episode, I don’t think you can say all that about it yet. At the end of the day I trust Feloni and Favru

      Yeah, like I said, I actually tried 2 like this especially being that we've been waiting 4 it 4 quite a while now but I gotta be honest, it was a huge disappointment as far as I'm concerned. I really expected sooo much more from this show mainly b/c it was the 1st episode... usually productions go really hard on the premieres as 2 captivate the audience 2 draw them back 4 upcoming episodes but I'm not sure if they even tried on this shows pilot episode. Either way, I'm just 1 person, if the majority of u guys liked it, that's all that matters I guess. Thnx

    I'm not a big Star Wars fan, not a big Boba Fett fan. But like with Mandalorian, this is great. But yeah ignoring the water was dumb when the kid went out there to get WATER. Also didn't like how the sand lizard thing just didn't shake more or roll or something... And how the pig men were just gone behind them and then took long to get there. And why would Boba shoot a rocket so close to the shields?
    They really should have made the transition in to the second dream/memory scene slower. Like have them walk him in and then leave the shot on his face for longer, felt a bit too abrupt.
    Also did they forget to digitally remove the rope holding the thing under his back when he was dragged on the sand?
    Loved the Boston Dynamic's Spots, just with some armor on top.
    Damn you talked a lot about this one, it's great that you do more than just the reaction.

    Boba Fett isn’t a Mandalorian he’s a clone. At least not officially. At best you could say he’s a “claimed” one. Remember he says to Bo-Katan “never said I was” when she says he’s not Mandalorian.
    Also Mok Shaiz is not the name of the majordomo. The droid introduced him as “Mok Shaiz the mayor” before he corrected it by saying “his majordomo actually”

    Tbh I just don’t like them glorifying this way of life and making Boba Fett heroic. It’s certainly less interesting and engaging but I think it also doesn’t serve the character of Boba or the story in the best way and sends the wrong messaging. You look at something like Godfather, it doesn’t pull punches or make everyone seem noble. It vilified that lifestyle and is so resonant and impactful on multiple levels. Kids shouldn’t grow up thinking running crime gangs are cool and respectful.
    Character wise it’s kind of hard for me to get on board with this Boba, I get he’s been through a life altering experience but I think this would work better if we saw what he was like before in this show and also to not break it up with flashbacks. Typically I love non linear storytelling but to get that progression and character development sorted out at once I think would work more
    Also it’s kinda hard for me to get behind 2 characters being the protagonists that were brought back from the dead. Star Wars at this point is ridiculous in that regard with 15 characters that have risen again when absolute max they should have per franchise is 1 or 2 preferably none. Hoping Fennec will actually have narrative worth and a reason to bring me on board with her but we’ll see. But I’m excited just to see Morrison back and hopefully he can also reprise his role as Jango or another clone at some point which would be epic. So far I think they’ve handled Tusken culture better than Mandalorian.

    I'm confused why people are wondering about the desert creature. Tatooine has a myriad of critters, and in previous films we've had giant space slugs, abominable snowmen, crazy praying mantis bugs, and actual dragons, but everyone thinks a four armed reptile is too much?

    • @Rocket1377
      @Rocket1377 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. I've seen some reactors say that it didn't look like a Star Wars creature, but I strongly disagree. There's plenty of weird stuff on Tatooine, just look at all of the aliens in the cantina.

    38 year wait to see the Sarlacc pit escape & for me it was brushed over way too quickly! No tension in that scene at all, even the trash compactor scene in. New Hope had more tension. Disappointed. Mando seemed a nice guy, I was expecting Fett to be a little more gritty.
