Great software. Would you show how to design ornaments and scrolls with this software.

I know this is an old video, but I just found out about Plasticity and have been trying it out. I see there's an easy way to set the dimensions of an object (e.g. circle) when creating it by typing it in (e.g. radius 3.5mm). If I want to edit the dimension later, all I can find is relative movement, e.g. I can decrease the radius by X amount, but I can't just type in the new dimension for a radius. Am I missing something, or is there really no way to resize to an exact new size?

Same question here. How can I measure old features and change them parametric?

Been trying it too. working in mm seems quite difficult. When I try y rotate an object it disappears. Can't find how to edit dimensions either and the tutorials I have seen don't show it either.

Don't think the program is parametric

What do you think of DisignSpark mechanical?

    Hi mate!
At the top and on the right are those purple squares where you select: vertex, edge, object ....
Those walls have the same color when you select or deselect them and do not stand out well.
It would be more intuitive to be a different color when deselected ...
Could you choose a different color? EX: Purple and green, white and blue.
It would be better for us beginners.
Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Great video! What do you recommend to retopolgize the model in blender, cinema 4d?

Depends on what the final out come is? Is it for 3d printing, game asset, animation or rendering? In most cases I would use ethere blender or Instant Meshes

Is this really parametric? I get that you are using precise dimensions in modeling, but can they be changed/adjusted after the fact? The dimensions don't seem to be visually attached to the sketches at all

      nope it's not parametric.

But this video is not about Blender. Also, some tips of setting up the workflow for designing in Blender messed up my viewport and it took me like a whole day and help from the blender chat to figure out that setting units to mm and then setting the clipping in the viewport to 10000mm will mess up how geometry is rendered haha. Better set it to 1000mm.

Any reason why you appear to have chosen a virtually identical model to the Shapr3d tutorial?

One suggestion. About halfway through this I can't quite remember the shape that you're trying to build. So the purpose of a lot of what you're constructing is unclear. It might be nice if you had a little window maintained at all times of the sketch or the final goal of your 3D object, just a small picture-in-picture kind of thing. I think that would make it super clear and much easier to follow. Great job though this is super exciting.

Take a look at Part 2 & 3 from blender you can export an OBJ or an STL which both work in slicers more info on blender for 3d printing here: th-cam.com/video/9EF2VryBAq4/w-d-xo.html

i know you like to do your own thing, but as a blender user : your interface is very inspired if not copied from blender.. please join blender foundation and get this to working as hard surface blender workspace. that sh it dope
