With a total of 14 people in a 4 bedroom house, including me and my ex-husband. I won't make you guess why I'm getting divorced lol. Except that no one died in the house, at least while I was there 🤞 Good for you getting out! Now we gotta work on that survival stress while keeping our dark sense of humor! 🖤

“if you ever want to get good at receiving feedback write a book” is actually great advice. maybe not literally for most people but i grew up writing, and i am great at receiving feedback now because of it. the key is writing/doing something, being proud of it, and then receiving high-quality productive criticism that will be something you didn’t see but that MAKES IT BETTER. i get EXCITED to receive feedback now, bc people engaging with my work and honing in on the good parts & making them better & cutting the parts that don’t work is ADDICTIVE! also when you start to get good is when the feedback gets more detailed, and it might feel like you’re getting worse bc of it. not at all. it’s really hard to provide feedback on something boring or that’s not working on a fundamental level, but once the Bones of the thing are good, that’s when giving feedback becomes easy & exciting for the reviewer. and! once you get good people will start to see things in your work you were doing without realizing! i once had a workshop where i churned something out on a deadline without much conscious thought or review, and the first workshopper said “i really love how you wove this theme throughout about being believed.” i had no idea i’d done that! but i totally had and it was so magical to realize in workshop! getting your work criticized is actually really amazing once you get past that fear.

I’ve also learned that even though writing (or any kind of art) is a gift, making it my identity only leads to feelings of failure and doubt like: “Who am I when I’m not writing? Who am I when people don’t like my writing?” Rooting my life in Jesus gives me the firm foundation that I need to survive whatever happens. I am enough because of His strength and not my own. I do it multiple times a day because i can see every smudge and my eyelashes are long and I cry easily so they happen often and it gives me a headache 😂😂 breathe and wipe is better than just wipe usually

I sometimes still end up not having one bc I moved it but at this point I have so many, I keep one anywhere I might need it. By my bed, by the couch, in the car, etc. So I guess my solution is to spam cleaners everywhere lol

I have definitely fallen to the shrinking attention span of the tik tok/yt shorts generation, and Dylan's videos are the only long form content I don't have to force myself to watch. @@juliageiger3977 Exactly. There comes a point when you have to address certain addictive vices whenever you notice they start to negatively affect your mood, brain power, behaviors ect,. I was that way with Facebook and Twitter, too. I hated the feeling of being addicted to social media.

When it's down its nice bc it gives a 'I just rolled out of bed like this' look but I'd say the way you do your hair is nice aswell because it gives 'i care about my appearance bc i am a mature guy and dont have the hygiene of a (insert something with bad hygiene bc i cant think of anything rn)so in conclusion, they are both good in different ways.

i honestly can’t remember the time before i discovered his movie commentary channel cause after then i feel good knowing i can just sit and have a good time laughing about some random guy who loves himself, getting excited about fictional character getting murdered from time to time and it’s amusing to see how bad film directing made him worked up to the point he literally hates himself. I also appreciate that the commentary content is not that frequently posted so that i don’t feel bad spending too much time on youtube yet still naturally waiting for notifications on when he will posting again. i don’t really care how he likes to have his hairstyle but i do think the glasses matters! if you read this, pls wear the fboy glasses ones at all time thank u. You carry that stuff around with you? what if I'm not home? 😂 It's hard enough cleaning mine with something that's not specifically the little cloth that comes with them because it makes it worse. I do it multiple times a day because i can see every smudge and my eyelashes are long and I cry easily so they happen often and it gives me a headache 😂😂 breathe and wipe is better than just wipe usually
@@JeM130177 my eye doctor has (had? Idk haven't been since 2020) a pile of those cloth glasses cleaners at the front desk so every time I go, I steal like 10 of them. I sometimes still end up not having one bc I moved it but at this point I have so many, I keep one anywhere I might need it. By my bed, by the couch, in the car, etc. So I guess my solution is to spam cleaners everywhere lol
@@JeM130177 kind of more meant a less frequent solution😂. If mine are bothering me sometimes I carry glasses cleaning wipes with me or I’ll just go to the nearest bathroom and clean them there. I just know that for me if I try the breath and wipe method it barely does anything, if it doesn’t make them worse 🤷♀️
