Bardock was not such a great warrior, but he had good instinct, he was curious and smart (he invented the light ball of bluzz waves) and he liked fighting...he was underrated,same as Kakarot/Goku...one of the scientist said he'd be a great warrior...and he was quite right,he also said that bardack could become stronger than King Vegeta and he was probably right too...but somebody else screwed up rating him and his sons...I think Raditz could've been even stronger than Goku within time.
