INSTALL - Honeywell Lyric T5 Thermostat Unboxing and Installation

Update - No jumpers are needed. I selected the wrong type of system (conventional instead of heat pump) in the software and so the thermostat got confused which made me think jumpers were needed. The installation is very simple as explained in the honeywell website. It is imperative to select the correct type of system in the software when configuring the thermostat. MY wiring is as follows...
Forced Air:
BLUE - C
YELLOW - Y
GREEN - G
ORANGE - O/B
WHITE - W2 (note W is not used for force air systems)
RED - R
Rc switch (below R slot) in in the ONE WIRE setting

I will be changing from an infinity thermostat on a heat pump Carrier system so I hope this works as the installer said he remembers it only has 4 wires, but there are communications between the thermostat and the outside unit!

Turning off Data on phone allowed my device to connect and sync. Thanks for advice .

there was one wire connected to "Y" which color wire was that and what was that wire for ?

Y is is yellow it is use to start the compressor

Thanks bro I had to do a system reset on mine and I couldn't set up the WIFI and I was doing everything right except tuning off my data from my phone! Well I turned it off and tried again and booom it sayd SUCCESS!! Thanks man great video :)
