The real problem is that after 3 movies how many of the Dwarves can you name or recognize? No one mentions the presence of Thorin. They needed better dwarves, This is something Game of Thrones got right. We would watch an entire episode of Peter Dinklage chasing a hat around.

As a fan of both Tolkien’s world and the movies , I say watch them and decide for yourself. While the Hobbit trilogy was different from the book in a bit more areas than the Lord of the Rings movies were, I still truly enjoy the Hobbit movies. People can try to act as fine critics and speak a whole lot about what is and isn’t “Tolkien,” but the fact is that all of these movies were NEVER going to be 100% like the books for various reasons. If one looks, one can find that these movies had genuine heart and talent put into them by the cast and crew, and hating on them has mainly become a cheap gimmick.
Listening to all these people think hating the hobbit makes them more if a purist is hilarious. No it doesn't. Just means you're a close-minded prick. Nothing more. Ive read all the books 5000000x. You're not anymore of a purist than me. You're just dense.
