I love how Sheldon Lettich will always stick up for JCVD and make sure people know what a good and talented guy he is. As well as legit. Screw some of these other trash talkers.

I allways thought Van Damme was more Chad than Alex because i've seen him talking in shows and he is allways very polite.
The image i have of Van Damme is a very nice person who can get along with everyone and his accent makes him to soft like Chad instead of Alex who is a badass!

The more I listen to Sheldon Lettich, the more respect I have for him. The man is a genius, but he's also very down to earth and honest. Pure class. Also when I was a kid and I watched ''Double Impact'' for the first time I also thought they were two different actors playing Alex and Chad. That speaks well about Jean-Claude and Sheldon Letttich talent👏💪👍

Double Impact is so underrated. The storyline was actually intriguing, and Van Damme did a phenomenal job playing two characters. He made it believable, and he hasn't gotten the credit he deserves for that.

I honestly liked how in Double Impact - each brother gets challenged differently in the final battle. Chad has to fight in the shadow and use his smarts and his senses not his toughness defeat the bad guy in the shadow - whereas Alex, the nice guy, gets the toughest bad guy, bolo. I feel like Double Impact is one of his best.

Without even watching the vid I can tell you he’s a mixture of both. He is shown to be goofy and easy going, but also surly and unapproachable at times. Van Damme has gone on record saying he’s bipolar as well.

Van Damme has played twins onscreen since, but never as better as his first time Chad and Alex in Double Impact. He is so convincing in the dual roles, you forget that you are watching the same actor play 2 different roles. There are some great tidbits in the MVD special edition of Double Impact with Van Damme, Lettich and co giving some great insights into the movie. Gonna go back and rewatch Bloodsport.

Unique thing about JCVD is that he will stand up to anyone that try's to punk him down and Mr. Lettich said it best when he stated he's a cross from both Double Impact characters. JCVD in due time became a better actor with experience. In the end of the day, Sonny Chiba, JCVD and Jackie Chan are my big 3 that really got me into the martial arts and damn proud of It....BTW Viking, "You want to know what is chill out in Hong Kong"...lol....Favorite line in the film.

Look at the scene in the cargo container. Bolo smacked the sh## out of JCVD for real. Poor guy getting introduced to the iron walls again and again.

And on a side note since you’re talking to Sheldon and Frank Dux was brought up, I actually know Frank personally I trained with him several times privately out here in the Seattle area and hung out with him as a friend on a few occasions so I definitely have a inside perspective and my own opinions on him, I will not elaborate or slander him on here because he was really nice and cool to me but if you have any questions I can definitely try and answer just reach out to me or message me, I used to participate in a Van Damme forum that Sheldon would come on and talk and him and I have had a few discussions about our interactions with Frank, but if you have any interest or questions just let me know?

It would be cool if you reviewed more van damme movies, and tell us what you loved hated and if the villain per van damme movie was good vs the bolo from bloodsport, like time cop the villain wasn't convincing.
I really enjoyed your bloodsport vs kickboxer

Hi viking samurai! Really good content! I love your channel and the short clips! One question: why dont you just ask Jean-Claude something about his films? Just writehim on instagram? Maybe he answers...hopefully...and please ask him what happend since the 90s with his Films (like this legendary film!) I mean...his films became really....you know.
You cannot compare them to his best films (lionheart, no retreat no surrender, kickboxer, bloodsport, double impact etc.) His last film the last mercenary was also a flop (for me). Best regards big fan of van damme and now also of your channel - Batman

Another great van Damme film double impact and thanks for reminding me I'll have to buy it. I heard the bump on his head was due to a kick to the head and you're absolutely correct if they've used your material in the movie you should get paid for it. I mean you can't go to a restaurant and eat the stake and not pay for it. That's out of order they were just trying to con you

Dave - you never answered my question about Lettich's answer to your question about who would win in a fight - Van Damme v Seagal?!?!?
    - Can you ask Sheldon about a movie JC was supposed to do in the early 90's called 'Red Fox'...
    - Great vid Dave - I'll be watching the others as well!!!! Get back to me on that answer please unless you're not supposed to say anything... Also it's about time that you bring the Frank Dux issues into your videos, it's long overdue.
By the way, I know how old you are but my gf doesn't. I asked my gf to guess your age, she said you look 25, when I said you were 40 she was speechless for 5 min. I'm 37 now and I feel like I'm 100 any tips?!?! Hahaha ttys!!
