E5 HPC fault Manitowoc ice machine troubleshooting and repair

This Manitowoc ice machine was shutting off on E5 HPC fault. I found the Fan Cycle Control pressure switch to be burnt. The burnt switch and burnt wires would not allow power to pass to the condenser fan motor. The machine would over heat and shut itself off.
I also repair this Manitowoc ice machine by replacing the fan cycle control switch.

Always used the flare block to re-round the pinched tubing. Glad it worked out for ya...

I could probably find a better way to reopen the pinch. I unfortunately don’t have a flare block. lol. I was warned but didn’t listen.

Does that pinch off method have any potential to put a leak in the copper line? Just asking to see if this is a good regular method or a now and again thing.
