Definitely be checking this out. The regular stream deck has made editing sooooooo much easier. I realize there are cheaper products and keyboards but not that also run apps and commands for streaming like this does.
I want to use the Stream Deck XL to play audio clips in a podcast. I see that the buttons can be labeled with icons, but can I also label them with text, and can the order be easily rearranged? I actually want more than 32 buttons. If no such product exists, can I plug two separate stream decks into my laptop?
Hey there Elgato, just a question. Is there a way to edit the vibrance on the buttons?. When I add my images they seem very low on color on my StreamDeck XL
I have both the regular and the XL... thinking about returning the XL, although it's impressively well built, the LCD screen used in the elgato screendec XL is very VERY low contrast (for an LCD), very low brightness, very washed out colors, very high black levels esp. off axis. The screen really is about the worst mini LCD (and I have seen many) screens picture quality wise. Shockingly bad actually. Which is a real shame because everything else about the XL is amazing. Greta stand, good tactile feedback. It's just hard for me to get past the low quality display given the price I would expect better. The original stream deck while also not great, is still considerably better to at least acceptable picture quality. I saw other large tech reviewers note the same thing.
Please make a version of this with USB, Thunderbolt, and Ethernet connections on the back. Heck, just make it a bada55 USB/Thunderbolt Hub with the ability to switch the ports on and off as well. Oh... And a back rub too!
Wish Elgato could update the other streamdecks with removable usb cables too, better yet if they could be braided cables or having paracord on them, since it would kinda suck to have to buy a new device if the cable fails. Just got my Camlink 4K, super happy with its performance for my Lumix G7, a good addition to my streamdeck mini, HD 60 Pro and Green Screen, please keep making awesome products :D
Little questions. Does old stream deck units got this ugly dull colors as new stream deck xl? Because I can't stand it and going return because of this.
I just took delivery on the stream deck xl. It seems that the display is very washed out reds look like brown and yellows look white. Is there a way to turn up the color saturation and contrast to make the icons look more like they do on the computer monitor?

Im returning stream deck xl, because of false advertising Real unit don't have this vibrant colors like you show in your videos. Real unit displays all colors very bad. Dull, washed out and undersaturated. Works as described, but looks really bad. Also, aspect ratio of displays on buttons is not 1:1, so why all of your icons 1:1? They all looks little stretched when using with stream deck. Why can't you make good icons for your own product so they don't stretch Elgato?
DAMN you made a HUGE MISTAKE by not saying we can add more than 32 apps to a sliding screen, was there too little resources on your content creation resources to provide that information?!??? 😂

Please can you make transitions work in Studio mode on OBS, the last update made the stream deck far less useful.
would be nice if all the buttons were actually centered in each frame but other than that its a nice little device.

Setup ur game capture with audio monitoring in ur stream settings... Or just get a party splitter.

When I press the back button there is a 3 sec lag/delay before home screen icons load up... normal?
If u have lot's of gifs or using pics that takes lots of space on your home screen then yes.
Cool... but when will Linux be officially supported? I have the Stream Deck XL and I can't use it reliably due to lack of Linux support.

Seems cool but id only pay 150$ for that not 250! And i also own the regular size stream deck like thats plenty enough for me
