    The youtube recommendations are getting too spooky… i also went back to school at 26, that was almost 2 years ago and i’m now 28 and i feel like time has flown by so fast. Back then i told myself that time was gonna pass regardless, so i could choose if i wanted to be a 30yo with a degree or a 30yo without a degree. Sometimes we get nostalgic or anxious when we realize that time goes by so quickly, but we can also use that to our advantage: if time goes by quickly, that also means the future is gonna come quickly, meaning you’re gonna graduate faster than you think!! that reassured me in a sense, and i hope it does for you as well. Good luck

      I know what you mean! That’s what I’m telling myself, I could let two years pass without any change or work on a degree that would help me. Time is going to pass anyways, might as well finish it with a masters degree. :)

    Congratulations on ur new journey! 🎉 I also started my degree at 26 and will be graduating this summer at 30! Although I felt a bit out of place sometimes in class, I met some great people and truly enjoyed my time :) I have absolutely no regrets and hoping for the same for u too girl!

    I'm 25 I'm planning to save up some money from a job based on my biology degree so I can go back to school at least by the time i'm 27. I decided I never liked biology as much as I did physics. Biology and chemistry always came easier to me and math/physics was tougher. But I realize deep down I am more passionate about physics so I can't let it go. I listened to pressure from my parents when I was 18 to study Biology and become a doctor someday, and I realized it was never for me but for such a long time I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do instead for sure. I'm still not 100% yet cuz I just started thinking about it again. But I'm gonna study physics and do my best in that field without having any regrets this time. Good luck on going back to school. I will be doing the same soon. What will the 18 year old kids think of me, what if I don't succeed, what will happen next. Lot's of questions in my head too. I'm terrified too, but don't worry we got this.

    Same here! Worked a job after undergrad that wasn't clicking, decided to go back to school two years ago at 26, now I'm just a couple months away from graduating with my Master's and starting a PhD in the fall. When I applied it was just a way to escape the job I didn't like, and I was also really afraid of the commitment and uncertainty (also an ADHD jack-of-all-trades type). But grad school has completely changed the trajectory of my career and life in an amazing way. Even if this program isn't a perfect fit (but it sounds like it is!), it will be an awesome experience for you! You'll do great!

    we might be the same person !! haha. i also live in canada and only finished my first of year of university in the english program. it's terrifying not knowing what the future holds. however, i understand that i want to be surrounded by people and endlessly learning in an environment that won't hinder my growth. i bounced back and forth between interests but teaching is where my heart is at i think. i hope. i want to pursue a phd and the journey ahead does feel bittersweet, but i am also privileged to be in the position i am with the people i love. i know you will succeed in all your endeavors!!!! we're both well-rounded which can be challenging because we LOVE it all. learning is amazing and i hope you never lose that spark. congratulations

    You got a job well paid that you can do from home, alone, with no co-workers, no one to bothers you, literally the dreamed job, and you quit it because of that? Because you don't like to be alone? That's just the possitive aspect of it, that you get to be alone, you have more time to invest on yourself, on your personal growth, it's the advantage of it. You and I, our interpretation of the world is completely opposite

    • @AnLittleAlex
      @AnLittleAlex  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Different people need different things and that’s okay :) i was alone my whole life. I know myself well and I can be alone i just find it pointless for me. My favourite part of my job is my coworkers and being able to interact and help people. That’s what makes me happy. I have tons of time to invest on myself and my personal growth!! In fact, I have more time now than I did when I worked at home. Us humans are made to be outside in the world. But again, that’s just my experience :)
