These are found mostly in my area of Atlantic Canada. on a normal summer day I can usually yeild about 30-40 razor fish's in about 2 hours. I love it. great little things

These are great steamed or even boiled. Used to go to the shore with my parents when I was younger to catch these when I was a kid. Real good stuff!
Razor clams are sensitive to changes in temperature and salinity, hence them surfacing when you pour on the salt. Hope that helps :)

So in in order to catch this fish, you need to pour salt on beach salt. Then on top of that salt on salt, you have to pour water, which contains salt (Anybody notices the asyndeton?). Isn't living inside salt enough for the fish to get the fuck out? Or am I just not seeing something here?
Apparently not, because if just living inside salt was enough to get the fish out, then he wouldn't have had to do all the extra shit. So what do you think?

I can't stop watching this.
We used to do this when I was a kid, at West Angle Bay in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Wait until the tide is out. Once you get used to recognising the keyhole shape, it's fairly easy. Don't just tug them out. Once you grab them, they try to pull back, but then relax and they pop right out. My Dad used them for bass fishing.

If you look at where he poured the sand you can see a little Line/Trail coming from the Sea to that exact spot.
There is a figure of 8 or keyhole shape in the sand which shows you where it is
The clams leave a small hole in the sand. If you hit the sand with pressure the holes usually will appear.
In the future, giant land clams develop superior intelligence and lobb tear gas into people's homes, laughing as they consume them as they flee.

Thats crazy ! What did you pour in the hole? They are usually pretty hard to catch.
You know there're so easy to get just by your hands. Me and my family went on a trip and we caught around 2 dozen! All you have to do is find a little hole and start to dig. It's so easy!
