    Jackie is very wise to use the knife I never use a peeler they will get you everytime. Yep make all recipes your own. She did it again put smiles on everyones faces, Nothing beats lovin from the oven!

      My wife works for Rush and they are closing her location, she's worked in that building for 35 years under different owners. She was already overseeing the offices of seven other locations so she'll now work from home and travel to the other stores as needed. She'll spend most of her time in Tifton and Valdosta.

      It's not as much work as it looks because these pears were softer. The ones that we have on our trees is harder so they may be a little harder to dice but are easier to peel. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day.

    We love pear butter, I make it every year, it’s delicious. Love those measuring spoons where did you get them have never seen any like that before. I usually make my pear butter and apple butter in the crockpot and let it go until it’s nice and golden and thick, I too use the immersion blender works great.       Update:
      Had multiple strokes at the same time. Also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. The Neurologist said I should have been dead. It looked like I was shot in the brain with a shotgun as fortunately the clot broke up into muliple pieces and perforated my brain. Thank you Lord. This is my shotgun testimony.

    That looks a little on the thin side… mine ended up much darker as well more like apple butter.

      Ours is dark just like Apple Butter and your right, it was a little on the thin side. We've adjusted the recipe but didn't make any because we still had two jars left and everyone in the family would rather have pear halves and pear relish. Thanks for watching and have a blessed week.
