    Thank you for your video. I am a Yoga Teacher and currently teaching Children with special need. And I wanted to see which yoga stretches footballers might use and enjoy. Since one of my students today was saying he doesn't like Yoga while he was happily following and doing it all!! So, I have found out that he loves football and I am going to use that reference instead to divert his interest to change his perception on Yoga , perhaps it is in the "word" Yoga.. Anyway, I will introduce footballer's Yoga on our tomorrow's lesson & session.

      Yoga has a lot of associations to it you have to be a certain way in your ‘practice’. I prefer to just stretch because there are no beg or advanced stretchi’s...and for the same reason you mentioned I clicked his link instead of an at home yoga video.

    I'm a basketball player and I love doing this stretching routine. It improved my flexibilty and also my recovery. By the way, I was a soccer player before I transitioned to basketball.

    I'm a yoga instructor and for someone who isn't a "professional stretcher or yoga teacher 🙂" I found your alignment and body aware information on point! Even the statement about recognizing how one side of your body was tighter or sorer and attributing it to the Right-side use was very insightful (and true!). Your reminder about sleep, hydration and nutrition as three key pillars to recovery and performance were spot on. Great video. Thanks for providing this.

    I weigh 340 pounds, I used to have a problem hitting the pitch to ping some balls with my friends. My back would start hurting so bad after 15 minutes i would stop. When I started doing your stretch/yoga routinely for 3 weeks I noticed my back stop hurting and i was able to last 45 minutes. Now I do the stretch/yoga routinely daily at 4am and try to hit the pitch everyday at 6 and work on fitness/individual training. My Weight-Loss and football journey is going to be a long one. My goal is to get fit and join a competitive sunday league in the next 2 years.
    You've inspired me and so many others to get out there and get after it. All your content is amazing and you're letting people know the truth. Tho I need to watch your football nutrition more haha. Keep up the hard work and Thanks for everything you've done for us

    pls never delete this i’ve been using it for over a year now for hockey and the gym. i could probably recite this video w my eyes close. the best stretching exercises and video i’ve ever found. covers everything and so great with the timer. i even modify it with stretches i like too. simply awesome

    I can’t believe I followed through all of it!
    I’m 35 this year, mainly been a Futsal gk for about ten tears. I found the abductors and sitting on your ankles the most painful
    Even the long straight leg to the side got me and that’s my bread and butter (leg saves)

    I’ve never really had a stretching routine and chronic injuries from inflexibility pushed me out of pro soccer, day 1 of starting a routine with this video and man it was a massive struggle but going to keep at it 2-3 times a week and see where we end up!     In case anybody is wondering the last stretch he does works his glutious medius not your glutious Maximus (Butt)
    But it is a little more toward your quad which helps your kicking motion in soccer and the most powerful kickers have a really stretched out glutious medius

    That was great. I just finished following along the whole time. Felt the adductor stretches a lot. And will continue to use this to open up my hips.

    I saw your feet stretches, which are a big help, but is there something more I can do for my feet? I have a very big problem with tendon pain and cramping in my feet (almost like Plantars fasciitis) very frequently when I play. Any suggestions?

      Do the butterfly pose before workout. And before bed too so that you let those muscles loosen up.

    Loved this. Defo gonna encorporate into my everyday morning routine. Personally have a really tight right side of my body, left side is really flexible, right side barely so. Loved the last criss cross stretch. Glad I found this channel

    I wouldn’t recommend doing all of the stuff he did. Like he said everyone is different I did everything and now I my muscles feel so tense . But great video
