rainworld threat music is actually dynamic so its designed to be "on time" because if there is a threat nearby it will start slowly but when your actively being pursued it goes all in
I love the fact that you survived the vulture, but then proceeded to fall off a cliff and die anyways :'D I feel that pain on so many levels. Me and my sis are doing jolly co-op in the leg right now... lets just say our sanity has left the chat.
Oh my god I've had almost the exact same experience I think in that exact room as well Though my main one was the threat music going to fucking MAX right when like three miros birds appeared out of NOWHERE
Afaik it's similar to a regular vulture but it can stun lock tou if you get too close, at least that's how my encounters with it went. I'm not sure of the exact mechanics but hope this helps a little
@@Camphreneasno, masked vultures only incapacitate you, leaving you a chance to escape if something attacks/incapacitates the vulture itself or if you throw something just after the vulture grabs you (it should pretty much always hit the vulture and make it release you), while de-masked vultures have their mandibles completely exposed, which makes their bites lethal. de-masking a vulture will also cause the vulture to hunt you down through every region with present vultures until it dies.
It is a pretty neat region mod called Howling Rift, its entrace is Located on Subterranean, but you can also find another easier entrance on Memory Crypts, if you cant find it, start a new campaign or expedition

this just made me think the music just goes hold it HOLD IT... HOLD IT....... NOW GO GO GO
Rain world devs trying not to make their game the most dynamic thing possible.

classic rain world death - avoid a death just to die an even dumber death
This is literally just rainworld in a nutshell
I feel threatened.
gahtdamn music goes hard
That threat music tho is epic what :O
Wdum timed? Music corresponds to the current threat levels
The threat theme kinda looks like the Crimson theme from terraria
oooo Howling Rifts
wow that looks cool, what mod is that
Its called howling rifts? i think
Definitely Howling Rifts, or at least includes the new enemy from that mod.
@@dilbertbilbertcrabbert1868I thought that was rubicon

Wow. Neat.
Is this a mod? What character is this
i think the character is just a reskinned rivulet but idk bout the mod
The region is Howling Rift, the slugcat is just the rivulet but with the "Cutscene slugcats" mod
The vulture is the fire vulture from fat firefly mod

I think that would be the Rotund World mod😅
Can anyone explain what this thing even does? For me, it looks like a more intimidating vulture.

I'm pretty sure they also have insta-kill bite, judging from the exposed face
@@jessiesowter
I thought every vulture has an insta-kill bite, regardless?🤔
