@@caseyj8313 and the truth of my comment still remains, THAT Ford was a sled. Nothing will change that. And IMO the most violent launch was the red RAM.
Wolfesscythe117 started falling asleep lol....i thought it was "so much torque the chassis completely twisted or axle mounts broke or some major truck hops" (violent) but it was just normal truck drags lol
I know black smoke is unused fuel but in all reality who doesn't love to see a little coal roll, i've drove modified cummin's pickups for the last 15 years and i still look over at the passenger side mirror everytime i change gears.
It is true. Black smoke is unburned fuel. That means power is going out the exhaust in the smoke. It doesn't mean the truck would make less power if it wasn't smoking. It just means the truck needs more turbo to use all the fuel.
the how come diesel race cars don't black smoke? when the money is on the line i see no black smoke? I really dont know why these trucks are black smoking but i have a feeling its because black smoking isnt terrible and you at least know its getting enough fuel.
I think what he meant by violent launch is that the g-force would have hit you pretty hard. If you have ever been in a modified diesel, you should know how hard the launch is. Just because it doesn't lift half of the truck off the ground don't mean it's not violent. These trucks are made to stay in place, so there is almost no way you can get it off the ground on launch. The reason that trucks like the farm truck can lift so hard is because the farm truck is made to do that. They want that truck to have at least one wheel off the ground when you tree a Lamborghini. It's fun for them, as apposed to these people who run on the track for competition. Just saying buddy.
I want to see these in different weight classes....towing weight classes! That would be so sketchy seeing these trucks launch while towing trailers! I might be on to something here...
Taxed to death they do that with big rig drags.not sure what countries but but they have so much torque they lift left steer tire over a foot off the ground at times
Spence not at all. That's all just carbon. Same thing every living organism is made of. Plus it's heavier than air and just settles to the ground. Ozone is safe another day :D
Three of the four vehicles in your opening picture are absolutely unfit for autosports. The jeep could do some cool stuff, the others are just for fucking show and NOTHING else. Weird nitpick, I know, but it's his opening. Makes me think this guy has no idea what autosports are
My uncle has a twin turbo duramax and we go on the highway lookin for camaro’s and hell cats to race and he puts it in 4 hi and just drags their asses down the road.
Its Funny to see how far the Diesel just in the past 15 - 20 yrs. what I mean is from work horse turds with no acceleration to Sling shots just amazing
Will someone please please please tell me where all the violent diesel launches are in this video?!? Cause I must becompletely blind or something cause i cant seem to see any of them violent launches anywhere in this video
Everyone here is hating because they think a 9,000lb truck should lift on launch. These were all pretty good since they would normally run 16 seconds or more stock.
I watched Jim Jones in his red duramax come off the line looking at both walls and I thought to myself, son of a gun that was violent. I didn’t see anything like that here
i love diesel cars. i owned a thailand truck.. a toyota hilux vigo.. i modify the engine , a lot of black blacky smoke to fuck the RICER up on the road xD
Who else was expecting some of the Chevys to break their tie rods?
Me
Me🤣😂
I was expecting to see pushrods explode from the fords
@@deputy2717 Yep and a few transmissions from dodge
@@themechanicred lol
that red one was the only violent one out of the bunch. I have some pretty violent launches in mine too. called bad carrier bearing.
That red 2nd gen Ram was insane!
the first Duramax, dudes wiping the tires like they're big tire slicks 😂
That Ford was a sled, still haven't seen a violent launch until that Red RAM, that was sweet 3:40
Judging by your name you may be a bit bias huh
@@caseyj8313 bias through experience sure, Ram is no joke
I saw a lot of rams get drugged by Ford's
@@caseyj8313 ok, name the worlds faster FORD, 1/4 mile ET, for gas and diesel
@@caseyj8313 and the truth of my comment still remains, THAT Ford was a sled. Nothing will change that. And IMO the most violent launch was the red RAM.
We must have differing opinions on the word "Violent". Halfway through the video, still not entertained. Leaving.
Wolfesscythe117 started falling asleep lol....i thought it was "so much torque the chassis completely twisted or axle mounts broke or some major truck hops" (violent) but it was just normal truck drags lol
is the super class the red dodge hopped on take off
All of you guys arn't truck/car guys
[HQ] Glitch I'm more like a power Wheels guy from way back! lol
Nah, I only own 5 diesels, and I'm building one. Not a truck guy at all.
3:45 was the only thing somewhat violent about this video
The most casual relaxed launches of 2017! (Better title)
I know black smoke is unused fuel but in all reality who doesn't love to see a little coal roll, i've drove modified cummin's pickups for the last 15 years and i still look over at the passenger side mirror everytime i change gears.
dsett100 Meh... I know plenty of people who don't like it.
It's the best part about owning a diesel truck.
Somewhere, Gale Banks is mumbling about how black smoke is wasted power
roadhog29389 LOLOL! You're so right
roadhog29389 hes right tho
Oh, I believe him, Man is a genius. The comment just passed between my ears and amused me so I posted it

Clickbait! Fast trucks, but nothing violent about this. No wheelhop, etc. FAIL!!
Mark W 3:45 red Mopar was pretty violent.
justin76bmw Big deal. Didn't make it that far cause the video wasn't near what the title said sooner than that. Blows.

Deadly Tandem even at that, the farmtruck is just a couple of adjustments away from veing track ready... The farmtruck is built plenty good
Aside from the 8.6 I was really disappointed lol
By the end of the show, everyone in the audience will have the lungs of a chain smoker.
sounds to me like a couple of the cummins were 12 valves. crazy to see a 21 year old diesel perform just as well as the newer ones
Oh My goodness that red dodge was amazing.
I love that you can literally hear the torque with diesel engine that slow spool up
I don't think you know what "literally" means, but they do sound cool as hell.
Taxed to death search for diesel power challenge and they do drag pulling a trailer
Taxed to death look up semi drags
Taxed to death sorry semi drag racing is what itll come up as better..same thing tho
Taxed to death watch diesel power challenge if you want to see trailer tow drag racing
That red ram at 3 minutes could have ripped the continent in half with that launch
Diesels with drag tires > Diesels with off road tires
let the violence begin...in..3...2.....1...3/4....1/2....1/4....1/8....fuck it I'm out
Jim Buddabing 😂😂😂😋
Gotta love the CAT AMAX @ 1:20 video doesn't do justice on how loud that truck is.
best part about drag racing diesels.....the fans have time to take a nap between the start and finish of each run.
Cool video but WAY too much crap on the screen...
So impressed with these chuggers... Incredible.
That dude at 3:50 is G as fuck
*DSCLAMER* All Prius owners were highly triggered in the making of this video.
that red truck's launch was the perfect example of what diesels can do.
The ozone layer was not harmed in the making of this video...... okay maybe a little
Spence not at all. That's all just carbon. Same thing every living organism is made of. Plus it's heavier than air and just settles to the ground. Ozone is safe another day :D
When diesel is life but u forget to go to work

I thought this where gonna be Violent asf. Bruh they aren't even close to violent 😭😂😂. What a joke. 1320 got them violent ones.
Dang I been here since 500 subs. You have grown man keep it up!
It still was fun to watch
Only saw like 1 violent launch
3:45 was the best
That boost really kicked in at 1:37
Dizzy Gaming For sure! Truck was movin out!!
I want to know why the two trucks with slower times were winners.
This video made me miss my ol 12v. Truck nearly rotted in two, but sure was fun with tailgaters. It was like squid inking someone
best boost of them all at 3:42 red Cummins gettin it
These things sound like fighter jets about to take off
My uncle has a twin turbo duramax and we go on the highway lookin for camaro’s and hell cats to race and he puts it in 4 hi and just drags their asses down the road.
Thats easy to predict the trucks with the least amount of smoke always won. Thats why I've always argued that rolling coal makes you slower.
that last one was so close
Aint NO violence here.
think i just added riding in that red beast to my bucket list
Is there a reason the exhaust is vented from the front hood and not the typical rear end like normal stock trucks?
Polluting the air with these raggedy ass trucks !
The red second gen at 3:30 is NASTY!
okay after a minute and 50 seconds and all the marshmallow launches I'm leaving too
So glad I had to watch a 30 sec ad for this disappointment
Those inline cummins sound like a turbo buick v6 reving up
Hardly violent! Only 2 videos had a hard launch!
Nice Video man
Its Funny to see how far the Diesel just in the past 15 - 20 yrs. what I mean is from work horse turds with no acceleration to Sling shots just amazing
there is a reason why Diesel drag racing isn't huge.... lol no violence in the past 5 min...
@1:45 Thats impossible! i thought running twin stacks gave you 324% more POWER
Ikr!
That guy didn't even spool up. Lol
Do these trucks need forged internals, when boosted? I'm sure they can take a big snail, with the stock motor
I wonder how fast do those truck tops out at...
Awesome racing!!
I would be inside like, are we there yet???
This is absolutely crazy
I didn't even see one violent launch. This channel is nothing but clickbait.
3:40 was pretty fucking violent
that's about the only one that lived up to the title
Are Volvos allowed to race the trucks?
HELL YEAH!!!! Dang that is so cool!
Will someone please please please tell me where all the violent diesel launches are in this video?!? Cause I must becompletely blind or something cause i cant seem to see any of them violent launches anywhere in this video
Well there goes the planet lol
3:45 axle breaker diesel
diesel days in Byron IL seen trucks running 9sand 8.3d
boost kicked in yo
Everyone here is hating because they think a 9,000lb truck should lift on launch. These were all pretty good since they would normally run 16 seconds or more stock.
All of 100000000 tq... and 11 seconds 1/4th.
Atanas Tripzter yeah my lil s10 has a cheap LS swap and a decent sized turbo and runs mid 9s.
Tip: Never lower your trucks back end.
Still waiting on a violent launch...
Lol THE DODGE WALKED AWAY FROM THAT junk CHEV
I am going to violently launch to a different video!
LOL they need a Seat Ibiza cupra to see whats a violent diesel launch :-)
can't beat them Mopars
I watched Jim Jones in his red duramax come off the line looking at both walls and I thought to myself, son of a gun that was violent. I didn’t see anything like that here
damn fast....for diesel.
The cummins sounds like a semi truck
3:44 holy crap!
is this 1/4 or 1/8?
these times are not in order with winner tags.
You sure you have the right video?? Where are the most violent launches at??
i love diesel cars. i owned a thailand truck.. a toyota hilux vigo.. i modify the engine , a lot of black blacky smoke to fuck the RICER up on the road xD
Didnt se this when I went to nationals
Hey your truck is smoking. Might want to get that looked at
let the coal roll!!!
Always launch violent but then they fall in the face at the 60 ft
nothing violent here... clicking away
Violent launch lmao im leavin
I from Thailand i have diesel 4 cylinder 3000cc runs 7.01
havent seen violent yet????
Mark Sroka: 3:40
11 second shit is far from violent
there was a few fast trucks. and by fast i mean under 10 seconds. i was hoping i would see a time in the 6 seconds. but great job by all
looks like deisels don't have very violent launches...
My grandpa"s wheelchair launch is more violent than this crap.
The only somewhat violent launch was the red Dodge at 3:40.. The rest were pretty smooth if you ask me. 2/10
About as violent as having tea with nanna
Complete opposite of what one would expect...
Violent launches?! If they were so good they wouldn’t be running 11s. Red dodge was the only real truck and launch there!!
why no trap speeds?
