We NICU babies are warriors! I am glad that Beckham is doing great! I was born at 24 wks and stayed roughly about 3 months in the NICU. Now I am in nursing school, hoping to have a job as a NICU Nurse to give back ❤

My twins were born at 27 weeks, Baby A was 2lbs 3oz with a 4 month Nicu stay, Baby B was 1lb 9oz with a 3 month Nicu stay ( he came home on their due date) They will be 16 in October. Sending prayer and love to your little miracle.

I was born at 5.5mnths old. My Mom was in the shower and had no idea her water broke. I was 4lbs at birth. I'm 33 now and 6ft tall and developmentally I was fine. I actually skipped 2 grades. Being born early just makes us warriors. Everything will be okay. God always has a plan! I'll keep this little one in my thoughts and prayers. The mother too. 🙏

That is so strange that you were so big to be just 22 and 2 weeks gestation. I was a nursery nurse and also my nephew was born at 20 weeks but his weight was pretty close for that age and he was 15 ounces and lived! He had to be fed through a gastric tube placed down in his abdomen. I had 3rd son at 33 weeks which is one week into 8th month March 24 and he was due May 11th and he was big for his dates 5lbs 4 ozs due May 11 he left my arms to go be with Jesus 😢My next was 35.3 weeks (born. July 1 due Aug 8 ) was 4 lbs 13 ozs a little scrawny and weak but is 51 and a Sheriff and Preacher now😊
I was also born around 27 weeks. I'm 55 now!

My first grandson was born at 25 wks and spent his first 14 mo in the NICU and another 2 in a step down unit before finally coming home, his little bro was early too at 32 wks. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without the many heroes working in the NICU, they do everything possible to save every little life. I will keep your precious baby & his momma in prayer that they’ll soon go home healthy happy and safely and pray the joy will be endless!!❤🙏

Look at how far Beckham has come! He is such a happy little man now and can even say Da Da! He may have Cerebral Palsy, but it doesn't have him! He is going to continue to amaze everyone around him! I was born at 28 and 1/2 weeks and I wasn't expected to live past 48 hours and I am 53! Go Beckham Go!

there's so many babies that medical things are happening to, that didn't happen in earlier years. I really think the immunization shots they're testing on everyone is making humans weaker and our babies are coming out with lots of problems.

I was 25 weeks, 13.5ozs, 8" born 70 years ago with nothing but oxygen coming into crib. As a Childrens nurse I've seen very welcoming advancements in NICU all over Australia and world. Thankyou to fellow Doctors, specialists, nurses, and parents that keep little precious packages going; and sends little angels into heaven as guardians to little ones with encouraging words and prayers.

My daughters were born at 31 weeks. 40 years ago..they didn't even try to save them...nor did I get to say goodbye..they put me in the end of the hallway from the other mothers..and let my milk come in... no one in my family has ever acknowledged that my daughters even existed but for the funeral..at that time..but it is forbidden to speak now. I am alone with my pain yet I never speak of it 😢

I was in a car accident when i was pregnant with my son and i was absolutely terrified but also concerned for the driver of the other car. She was a teenage girl who just got her license a couple of weeks prior. She was lesser concerned with herself or her car. She was worried for me and my unborn child. Thankfully my son is alright with an exception of having a coordination disorder called Developmental Coordination Dispraxyia and ADHD. The girl was so worried but I assured her that everything would be fine. I chose not to file with insurance with agreement with the mom to pay for the damage out of pocket to save the girl a huge new driver teen insurance hike and points on her license at 17.
Ma’am you have a REAL mom’s heart thinking ahead for the future benefit of this teenager. Good bless you and your own family 🙏

A guy rear-ended me, my car wasn’t 3 months old! I was 24 and had a temper!We exchanged info. He called me the next day asking is I could let him know an estimate before I call the insurance. We talked a bit, I knew he had high risk insurance, he was driving a car he drove to work he was restoring at the same time, so it was interesting…. he had been working really hard to get his life back together, I lived at home with my parents, I had a computer job. the damage was 400$, nothing worth him having a huge set back. It wasn’t his fault, I baaaaaarely missed hitting the guy in front of me. His boss lent him the money and I paid cash. He would have lost his drivers license and his job. It was my first adult aha moment.

Mine was 8 months and 24 days. He has grown a good son and the best brother. He was born a warrior, fighting for his life. It was a God gift.

God is so good. My grandson was 15 weeks 1 day early. So I'm so very touched by this tiny one's story.
He's a strong baby to have survived the wreck and his early birth.
My grandson turned 8 July 24 ... so handsome and super smart.

What did he weigh? I worked in NICU over 50 years ago and we had a 1 pound baby who went home at 6 months weighing 6 pounds.

Жить может и будет, но какой ценой для него самого и его родителей? Такие дети часто слепнут, потому как на искусственном дыхании. Чуть больше кислорода и это отражается на зрении, а чуть меньше-на мозге. А так же ДЦП у недоношенных в разы чаще.
