When I visited Pittsburgh with my husband a few years ago we stayed in a B&B run by an executive chef named Dennis and his partner. One morning we came down for breakfast and the french doors leading into his kitchen were open and I, a lover of cooking and baking, stared wide-eyed (and wide-mouthed lol) into his GORGEOUS kitchen. He noticed and invited me in to look around. I felt like I was in heaven. We talked about cooking and appliances and about his experience cooking for celebrities. I get that same awe-struck feeling every time I see your kitchen and homestead

I've used different cookie recipes of yours for Christmas & other holiday cookies over the last few years. All were delicious to serve & make gifts. Thank you for helping me to be a good host on my own since my beloved partner had the unexpected trip into Eternity. I serve good food, pretty delicious food to my family & friends. I also like it when you do the occasional centerpiece or a little DIY...you're fun at those, never see enough. ...Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To You & Your Family!
These are one of my "go to" cookies during the holidays. I always add walnuts too because I love the flavor combo.

I used your apple pie with a crumb topping recipe today! Added a cup of cranberries and a half tablespoon more of corn starch so I didn’t need to drain the liquid and it worked! Oh! And I added a half cup of chopped pecans to the crumble too. Great recipes! Thank you! 😊

Sounds yummy. I have developed a post holiday "what to do with leftover turkey" soup that my family and friends rave about. When I make it, nobody wants to eat anything but my soup. It's a total meal. I'll give it to you if you like.
I make these often. I find that a touch of cinnamon really compliments the recipe 😋

I really want to try this recipe now!! It just feels so festive! Just an FYI, but at 0:14 you say 2 1/4 cups flour, but the writing on the screen says 1 1/4 cups. I checked the recipe link to make verify which one I should use.

Hellooo :) I noticed a mistake in your video. It was mentioned to used 2 and 1/4 cups flour, but the text on screen says 1 and 1/4 cup flour. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way when I tried to make cookies and ended up with basically melted butter and sugar without enough flour.
The flavours though were all good still :)
I noticed the same thing and came to checkout the comments before 😮 so the right amount of flour is 2 1/4 cups right??

We have a tea for our church for the ladies this Saturday and we're doing a cookie swap. So I am baking off these for the first time ever. I wanted something no one else would use !LOL :D I love Cranberries and I think this might be our go to! :D I hope this turns out my weakness in baking is cookies but it's because I get so little of a chance to bake them.
I just hope they turn out thanks for sharing. I am also making your apple sauce ones as well. But adding vanilla and carmel extract. I think that will really kick it up a notch. I love to make anything apple with vanilla and cinnamon it's a no brainer! LOL :D Anyways here is hoping it works out!

You should taste that cookie with chopped macadamia nuts! Heavenly!! Another variation that's really good is dried cherries replacing the cranberries, white chips & macadamia nuts. Try it, you'll love 💕 it!

My grandmother always made a very wide range of delicious and very interesting pastries and cakes and other freshly baked treats.
Strangely enough, not to eat them, but to throw them at myself and my siblings.
Eating them was strictly forbidden.
Instead we'd have to stand in a line as our beloved grandmother threw delicious snacks at our face, as she laughed continually and sang hymns.
Looking back, it was quite bizarre.
But yeah, those cookies look rather tasty.

John in this recipe you said two and a quarter cups of flour but in the bottom shows one and a quarter cup wish are the correct measure I going to make tonight. Thanks for all your recipes they are amazing.
