Good thing this shop has integrity. Go in telling the tech at a questionable shop what to replace and they'll gladly take your money and leave you with the real problem. Do yourself a favor. Describe the problem and let the tech diagnose what needs repaired.
It's not that clean or neat but it looks so much better than the Car Wizzard's Shop. I believe the shop that looks nice is the one that Hoovie goes to "The Car Ninja"
@@paulparoma For the last 50 years we have been giving those clowns thousands of million $$$$ every after year and what have we gotten in tech that we could have done here on earth? Well we did get a microwave and pretty pictures
Thanks for sharing this taco diagnosis L/F/W/BEARING no need to fix what is not broken, also your being safe about vehicle moving or falling off lift. Your a wise man thinking about saftey thanks for the vlog
I think You Tube wants short 10 min videos on all the channels these days. But I like watching and listening to you longer than that. So if you want to spend more time teaching us - go ahead. Thanks.
Given my own 07 Tacoma the driver side wheel bearing...went out at 97k. But that was the only thing that ever happened to it in 13 years. Now have a 2020 Tundra.
Yess can't wait. Show all different situations. Especially this one with the reinforcement and custom job. Emu is the bird on the sticker. Pronounced E-moo.
Great video my 2010 is making a clunking noise occasionally when turning at low speed but it doesn’t seem to move or make any noise when I shake the tire while the truck is on the ground. Must be something else.
Peter, you are the best. Small suggestion? Your channel should serve as an encyclopedia of Toyota maintenance and repair for the folks like us doing it ourselves. What do you think of including the year and model in every title so we can find the needed content immediately? Please understand I make this suggestion as the highest complement to you. Either way, I watch every video you produce and is the content I look forward to every day. Keep up the great work.
I respect the description but you MUST START USING ARTICLES as proper English indicates! I was here for less that 1 year before I had proper English. Now your turn!!
I love this channel! I wish he was my mechanic...he’s great, and honest , he’s one of the few left in this crazy covid world we’re living in....👍

Thank you Peter.
Happy St. Patrick's Day. Good stuff.
Thank you Professor Peter!
Was mine exact assessment when I heard the noise. Those lower ball joints always look like that lol.
4:00 Beast mode: ACTIVATED!
Peter's shop is so neat and clean that it looks like NASA could build a Mars rover in there.

Want to see the neat shop? Check out Subi Performance shop. Not sure if the recent larger shop is still clean but the old shop was spotless.
NASA couldn't build anything reliable, not even in a clean shop like that.

@@edwardaguilar6322 I know. And don't forget we learned how to make heat-resistant tiles that would fall off on re-entry every time. Made in the USA!
Cant wait for the follow up video👍
I’m telling you, my friend Peter, you always have something new. Thanks for your tutorials, God bless you and your family and business.
Looking forward to seeing you replace wheel bearings.
Looks like the upper ball joint has a zerk fitting, maybe a good idea to put some fresh grease in? Who knows if it was ever added to...
I like your diagnosis will be looking forward to the video of replacement
He's a very patient and disciplined person. I like the way he troubleshoots.
Peter is such a nice guy, what great content, I love this channel

Thank you for filming this videos, they are really helpful . By the way I miss your diesel Mercedes videos , I got a 84 and 85 300D turbo diesels .
Perfect camera and audio work.
Thanks for another great video! Love your channel!
5:24 the way you said OH MY GYAWD IT FAILED

CV boots?? Idk
Looks like a new camera! much clearer. Love the vids as always.....especially gen 2/3 tundra content.
Does this Tacoma have a lift with those custom control Arms and shocks?
If that truck needed all of those shields you know that it is not a cream puff.
maybe more of a hard azz
Iv noticed the same thing at the shop I work at it's ALWAYS THE DRIVERS SIDE wheel bearing o Tacoma and tundra just haven't figured out why
Looking forward to seeing the bearing replacement

awesome! you're like a robot human its wonderful.
What type of fuel injection would a 2nd gen 4.0 v6 have? Direct, port,or throttle body or possibly a combination of sorts?
Thanks for sharing this video,interesting.
Looking forward to the bearing replacement.

Great! A future repair to look forward to.
Thank you Sir!
Those ball joints always squeak when they get close to completely separating. Luckily.
bro is that a short prinsu?
Is this truck lifted? It looks stock height. OME control arms are only for lifted trucks though. It has a small lift right?
What do you think about 5th gen 4runner with 50k
Very. My 4Runner had a bad wheel bearing, I couldn’t believe the noise it made. Very loud and annoying!
What's the name of his shop?
You get it there and let Dr Pieter give the final diagnosis ......
You’re so awesome!
Yes, more taco videos!
What? You're going to make us wait???
If Peter lived near me I wouldn't be doing half of the jobs I do myself
Thanks for this video.
Peter, Only 16 years of 'Off-Road' driving and the bearing failed, what happened to the quality?
It used to be you could get at least 16.5 years out of a bearing.:)
Great job, thanks.
Where is your shop, or the shop name?
Foreign Auto Specialists, Arcata Ca.
Peter I thought you inspected that Tacoma in your "Toy yoda Main ten nutz Shop?"
So a part can’t fail after inspection? You are very funny!
WOW great info. AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot keep up the great work
Nature of the beast. With 164,000 miles expecte wheel bearings to wear especially when no maintenance can be performed. Guaranteed for life? lol
If it is the bearing then why is the whole control arm moving?

👍🏻
This is what happens when you use such heavy tires
And they are Coopers, too...
Nice video Peter! I love your shop!
