I'm a 60 year old woman who always thought I was pretty independent, but you have inspired me to reach for new heights of self-sufficiency! There have literally been times in my life since I've started watching your channel where I've encountered a problem around the house that I once would have assumed was beyond me, but now I just think "What would Hannah do?" And then I'm up to my elbows in learning as I go. I wonder sometimes if you have any idea of how many women (of all ages) you've inspired to be more than they think they are!

Vanessa... open the curtains. Go take a bubble bath with some candles. Take some time to feel good about you... and then put your face and arms in the sun for at least ten minutes each day. Even if you do nothing more. I've fought that battle and feel like I'm winning lately. Discovered the law of attraction about 12 years ago and it has changed my outlook, my thinking, my life. been here since she first bought her cabin and it's really inspiring seeing how far she's come in making it her own. i don't have any knowledge on how to build stuff but the fact that she didn't either and STILL thrived in everything she's created for herself is truly inspiring. every video is like a shot of serotonin and i love every minute of it.

Hope he’s okay! Definitely makes sense if he simply doesn’t want to be a main character of the channel though, the internet is a lot.
She’s mad comments before about Matt being in the background relaxing and ppl think he does nothing all day… when the 2min clips are of HER doing some kind of project.

Wear a face shield with your safety glasses when using a cutting wheel on your angle grinder, when they wear down they can shatter and the bits can cut your face.
I laughed way too hard at "currently hiring for a babysitter".
Thank god somebody else said it, I almost couldn’t even watch I was so nervous when she did that. Almost had an .045 wheel take my nose off once, lesson learned.

Get yourself one of those pull wagons that you can put a huge amount of weight in and they even have a dump feature on them. Way better than a wheelbarrow. We got one that can carry up to 800lbs. We used ours to haul a ton of heavy gravel into our back yard.

They make these portable air compressors that you can plug into your cigarette lighter and pump up your raft or fill your tires. I have one made by Slime, Walmart or any car supply store carries them - they are amazing!!
