- Here we are guys! Isabel Paige and I met up to have a little van life adventure together! You may have seen her video already, since she was a little ahead of me on posting 😉 if you haven't you should check it out, we have a really different filming styles, and she makes beautiful content. ♡♡

Note on Covid 19:
Isabel and I each had covid tests, wear masks EVERY time we go in anywhere, and do our best to limit exposure as best we can. Our exposure is mostly grocery stores, where we try to stock up on food to last us a good while. Other exposures include bathrooms/showers, though the further south we go the more we've been finding outdoor locations.
We are doing our absolute best to try keep ourselves and others safe, and gauge each scenario as we come to it.
If you are considering travel please make sure to take covid precautions into consideration.

SAFETY HINT LADIES: I never open the side door. When there is any kind of knock, I go sit behind the drivers seat and crack the window.
The crazy thing is that these two women have the ONLY two channels that I actually subscribe to!!!! Imagine my delight to see that they are meeting each other. I feel that they are exceptional examples of the best that their generation has to offer and I feel so hopeful for the future if these are the role models for young people these days. I’m going to be 59 in February and at their age I was independent, self reliant, resilient AND LOVED POWER TOOLS, but what I lacked was their sense of wonder at the beauty of nature and their own recognition of what they are capable of as well as the courage to show their vulnerability. I can see that they have a respect for each other and the qualities they share. You’re both awesome and my favourite people on the internet.

@@jilliannoble00 that's not what saudade means (I'm portuguese), it means the feeling of missing someone or something that you love dearly, you can't feel saudade for something you've never experience (well you can in a figurative / poetic way) that's more like yearning for something.
It's Soo interesting to see the same thing in their videos from different perspectives! Their video AND editing styles are so different, beautiful and unique in their own ways!

Hannah, this is the girliest sleepover I have ever witnessed, but it's adorable... Miss the crap out of you love and looks like you're having tons of fun!! Also, if anyone is wondering... this is 100% what Hannah is like in person. These videos are very authentic. So lucky to have a friend like you that appreciates everything life has to offer.

I just made one too, at 60, it looks like. There was this woman I chatted with at the supermarket a few weeks ago, standing in line. The other day, I wanted to get some liquorice mint tea and who's hunched in front of that particular bottom shelf? So we exchanged numbers and we'll go for a walk or something soon. She said she wanted to lose some weight and I love walking, the way Hannah does. Hannah is so weirdly like me, in many things that she does, like rummaging through the shells, it makes me happy just watching all the stuff she does because I know how happy that kind of stuff makes you.
I have just one friend I've known since age 17, the rest came through the twenties :)

Who says it's too late now? Dunno about you, but I am 60. I can expect to live till about 90. If I think back to all the stuff I did between 20 and 50... (such as emigrate three times, come to think of it), it's clear that I can still do a heck of a lot of stuff.

I love that they were able to have such fun together and feel comfortable, I wish I felt that way. Having female friend relationships most of the time make me feel extremely uncomfortable, somehow this was hard to watch and that makes me really upset that I feel that way I didn’t even know I felt that way.

It is. A friend and I did 5 months on the road in a motorhome and it was the best time. Even at its worst when things broke down or we got run out of places by cops like they did-it’s all part of the adventure 💗

I can relate to the part 'from sunset view to parking lot'. I was traveling in New Zealand with a friend in a campervan and once a person yelled at us and called us "shitters" and would want us to leave immediately :D things like that happen in a van, it's not all romantic and cosy, so I appreciate the honesty in your video :)
ahhh NZ, so sorry that happened to you. There was a time when tourists were leaving their toilet paper and number twos all over the place where freedom camping was allowed, to the point some wanted to ban it completely, and then everyone became super suspicious of all tourists and their bathroom habits. Sad for the wonderful respectful tourists caught up in it.

hey, I’m in northwest Ohio. :) definitely ready for summertime. But even summer in Ohio isn’t the same.
I grew up in Southern Ohio, but worked in central Ohio for years...retired now. I used to head to Florida every Jan...to go on cruise 1 week, then spend a week before and after enjoying the beaches and weather. I would return back to Ohio after that vacation refreshed and ready to take on the stress of the rest of the work year. Haven't been back since retired and now pandemic. I'm so ready to travel and enjoy the ocean again. Everyone stay healthy and happy my friends.

I have been thinking about leaving this tiny 1 bedroom apartment and doin the Van life with my little one. When watching each of their videos, I love seeing their different perspectives/ takes on the same thing. They each have such unique styles of editing and content creation in general, and it’s interesting having a side by side comparison - it’s like watching an episode of master chef when the participants get the same ingredients but make completely different dishes!
