For the last 20 years, we have been travelling to Cape Town, mainly to escape the dull British weather... but Cape Town is so much more, it's people, it's history, the scenery is unbeatable and unbelievable, and the food is incredible..... Catch me back every year, we have been to every major city/country in the world, and this is the best place ever.
Before I thought that Africa was just a bunch if savannah, but now I know that there is desert, rainforest and beautiful cities over there, thanks Matt! I would love to visit!
Incredibly beautiful city. My fave. So glad I was able to get a taste of it with a native four years ago. Then we rode motorcycles along the wild coast to Kruger National Park. Outstanding time.
Capetown is utterly stunning!! Jaw-dropping natural beauty combined with a cool vibe. Never been anywhere like it. Something special about the surrounding area where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Almost spiritual, alot of natural energy here that is palpable

Just back from 30 days. Cape is the most beautiful city and so much hope and potential. Great people. Like many persons say I was told what it would be, crime, racism, anarchism. Well quite the opposite and while crime is an issue it feels like a city not full of hate but willingness and desire to step up and climb. Feels a lot different than race relations in the US for certain.
