Do you know how depression affects the brain? Do you know what can cause depression?
The main medical explanation is that depression is due to a chemical imbalance in the brain. It might be true, but most of the time, there are deeper reasons for depression. People on medication feel better for a while and then feel depressed again. Thus it’s important to understand how depression works because once we understand depression causes and effects, we can treat them.
There are certain factors of depression that can increase negative feelings. It’s also largely due to an unbalanced way of life. Some people are depressed for no reason, and in a world where more and more people are depressed, it’s crucial to understand the causes of depression in men as well as the causes of depression in women.
So watch this video to discover what causes depression in the brain, what triggers depression, and how to overcome it, with simple actions that everyone can take.
Enjoy the video, thank you for watching!

It could also be the harsh and critical talk from your parents, as what our parents speak to us ultimately get ingrained in our subconscious and that would lead to it being our inner voice

Yes depression is something that is not one dimensional. There are so many things that can contribute to it so I'm so glad you're touching on this in this video. I actually cover this similar issue when it comes to INFPs in my recent video. Great video, loads of takeaways. Thanks for sharing. ❤

A big change happened in my life recently after my 11 old cat's death. It was very traumatic for me for so many reasons. He was my life. I started feeling guilty after he passed away and fell into depression. I'm trying to overcome it but the problem is I don’t feel like doing things. I love to connect with people, hanging out with friend energizes me a lot but as an INFP I can see that even if I love socializing I usually don't contact anyone. I can't maintain the intimacy with friends, I'm always a little distant from them. I like alone time a lot but at some point when I don’t see or talk to them for a long time, that leads to loneliness. Now the sadness of losing my beloved cat added to this loneliness and lead me to depression. Sometimes I feel like I'm not gonna survive.

Thanks Mike! Yes indeed, it's effective because it's acting on thoughts patterns :) In what situations did you get the chance to see these results?

Michael Simone I’m a nurse practitioner and I have had a lot of patients with depression. I have seen some incredible results with CBT for depression, anxiety as well as mental toughness development.
