Good job lining the two video segments. I would show this to a film school (USC or UCLA) as an example of a good actor (Huey Lewis) versus a great actor (Christian Bale): compare and contrast the subtle body movements and voice delivery. (And I'm still amazed someone talked HL and AY to do this parody.)

That’s the first time I’ve seen the scene in 5 years and it’s crazy when he’s got the axe and the noise each hit makes. I can feel that it’s so hard to watch. If you think of it as a joke, it ruins the movie. Yes it may be comical how he kills Paul, but the fact is it’s supposed to be terrifying. Years of these memes to me ruins the portrayal by Bale. With people recreating the scene, it honestly makes Bales character look like a moron that wasn’t he’s to act.
Funnily enough, his co-stars on the movie thought he was a horrible actor during filming until they saw the final result. Because he so thoroughly wrapped himself in Bateman's 'barely there but faking it' persona, in the moment they couldn't really see the nuance and what he was going for with the portrayal. (Christian didn't hear about this until much later and thinks it's actually pretty funny.)
That final split screen when the Huey Lewis album cover comes up is perfect
