My thoughts on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max after over a week of use. I haven't had the overheating, but I'm glad to see Apple acknowledge the problem, and work on a solution. Overall, once that gets cleared up, this has been a great device and it puts together all the pieces that Apple has been working on the last couple of years.

It took them a couple of years to refine everything, but I do think it's one of the better iPhones that they have put out.
Ppl say that same shit every year i stopped after iphone 7 lol its all the same shit lol
I’m happy with my 15 Pro Max so far. I upgraded from an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Honestly I could have put off updating for another year, but my mom was still on an iPhone 8 (which didn’t get iOS 17). I figured I might as well get a new one and give mom my old one. I bought a new battery for the 11PM, swapped it out, and now mom will have a new-to-her iPhone.
Excellent! And I think that's a decent enough upgrade from an 11 to a 15.

I’ve had my iPhone 15 Pro Max for about a week now and I’m blown away at how good it’s performing. I went from a 12 Pro to this one and there is significant improvement. The first day it was hot to touch, but after it did its thing, no problems whatsoever.
Definitely, that's the perfect upgrade.
i’m happy with 15PM so far. have no overheating issue or whatsoever. went from 14 pro. i chose 15PM instead of 15pro not because about camera to be honest..it’s because of battery life. for me, 14 pro battery life is bad.
My brother has been wanting an iPhone for years. His phone is an android and about to bite the dust. I placed an order for the iPhone 15. I’m gonna miss my iPhone 13 but I know it’s going to a good home. He uses it to take photos at work. Plus he can have plenty of space for pics of his grandkids 😊
Definitely! I think you'll like the upgrade and he still gets a great phone!
All iPhones I've owned got Thermal Hot! Even our friends did but no one spoke about it because it was random.
We're in our 50's. So we don't download games, etc.
My 8+ got extremely hot & Apple would'nt fix it, they just said, it would be fixed with the next update & never was. So I switched to Samsung & couldn't be happier.
I Bought the 13 Pro on release date for my Wife & she still gets extremely great battery life on that device. It's showing 89% battery health in Sept 23.
It rarely sees below 65% to 70% after a days use of watching TH-cam or Movies from Prime but, there's 1 little Word Search Game that makes it run Thermal Hot!
Netflix was another heat causing Battery Eater.
Since deleting those 2 Apps it still gets Thermal Hot & in the freezer it goes about twice a month, indoor use.
She's never even opened the Camera App! I think the 13 Pro was the best iPhone made to date.
Planning to get myself 15 pro max and it will be my first time buying an iPhone but...don't know what colour to get apart from natrual titanium

I keep wanting to upgrade my iPhone 13 Pro to the 15PM but whenever I look at my mint condition 13Pro it’s so darn hard to give this special lil lady up lol she’s been absolutely amazing. I have a 13PM it’s locked cus I thought it was stolen then I found it 4 months later when I moved I’ve missed that size so much but the weight is just way too much
If you're 13PM is in good shape, no reason to upgrade for sure!
My Wife will not get rid of her 13 Pro. The best iPhone made to date. We just checked it & the battery health is 89% & it rarely sees below 65% to 70% after a days use of watching movies.
She's never opened the camera app. lol- However, it does get Thermal Hot twice a month minimum.. 1st it was Netflix & now it seems to be a Word Search Game. We deleted those but it got hot again & she's not updating to 17 or whatever it is now.

Would I be missing much if I go for an iPhone 13 or 13 Pro Max instead of the 15/15PM? I'm looking to save money. I'm not a gamer & don't do much intensive stuff. I do spend a ton of time on my phone. I do a lot of web browsing & listening to music. I want to be able to point & shoot to take great pics without a lot of effort. I use maps, TH-cam & basic social media. I probably have to get a pro model for battery life & 120hz refresh, otherwise I'd be ok with a regular model.
Definitely not, especially if you get the 13 Pro Max. You're going to get the promotion display, plenty fast chip, and fantastic battery life with support for four more years. You'll be fine.

I still think the samsung z fold 6 ultra next year and xiaomi mix fold 4 will destroy this phone. I will upgrade to those from my s23 ultra

i have the 13pro i have no problems yet with my phone just the battery going a little fast , and i was thinking of the iphone 16 pro but i was reading that the 16 pro will come 6,03 a little large next year ill see or ill wait form 17pro
