Got one in the black. Went from a 14 pro. One of the best phones I have ever owned. The action button for camera is inspired. The number of pics I have missed of my cats is now over 😂 Gaming is superb. Runs COD at max settings and only slightly warm. I did like the stainless steel, but the weight is worth the finish.
Thanks for your initial thoughts on this, Josh! I’m actually quite eager to get a 15 Pro Max after going to a local Best Buy to see one in person. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how much they reduced the overall weight of the phone this time around. I use both Android and iOS, but every time I tried to go with a Pro Max model I ended up returning it because it was just too freaking heavy for me. (And the 6.1 inch models are too small for me). The 15 Pro Max felt great to hold this time around, so I’ll finally be able to ditch the 14 Plus I’ve been using and move up to the Pro Max to get that telephoto lens and 120 Hz screen. 👍🏻 Bonus feature is they also made the new PM model a bit less wide, which is great because I also found previous PM models a bit too wide for my hands. Now I just have to be patient and wait until mid November for Apple to deliver my natural titanium 256 gig model. 😭😜

I have the standard 13, and I’m going to upgrade to the 15 pro. My battery health has gone down and trading in my current phone and paying off the difference is cheaper than paying for the battery replacement. I was able to see the colors in person, and the blue is a nice night sky blue definitely getting mine in that color. This will be the first pro model iPhone I’ll ever own.
I also have regular 13 model, although battery has 91% capacity left, I've bought MagSafe Battery Pack. I also aiming 15 Pro because of combination of size, weight and FINALLY matte titanium frame, USB-C, 120Hz display and action button. One thing I hope Apple will fix is better optimization of new 3nm SoC, that might improve battery life. I was in Apple store three days ago and was not impressed with dark colors (black and blue). I probably go with Natural Titanium.
So on Apple’s website they say the iPhone 13 has 19 hours of video playback and the iPhone 15 Pro has 23 hours of video playback. Of course this will vary by use case and how much you push the chip. The TH-camr Mrwhostheboss has a video doing a battery test but he did push the chips on some of the tests so not an everyday user battery test but I still think it’s a good video to watch. I couldn’t resist upgrading to the Pro this year since my phone carrier gives me $1000 off but it’s going to be annoying since with the paperwork it’s going to be listed as making payments and not payed off. 😑
Do you think it’s a real bad phone an all issues as people say? Would you recommend me getting an s23 ultra instead or go with the 15 pro? I already made the order btw but these comments are driving me nuts
Following the principle "lighter is better", iPhone 15 Plus looks like a better deal as it is 20g lighter than Titanium, last longer and survives the bend test 😊
Just dont sit on it ? As if people would deliberately sit on their phones. Its unfortunate the hardware seems a bit weaker this year given how beautiful they look
iPhones do support reverse wireless charging, but only with magsafe battery. Apple watch doesn't support Qi charging so it makes no sense for them to enable that feature.
I bought the iPhone 15 pro max. I unplug the phone at 6 am (100%) and at 12 pm (50%) so in 6 hours it dropped 50% and have some heat issues. in these 6 hours I have screen time at 2 hours only
I got the 15 pro, and honestly I haven’t had that issue with the heating at all. And I did get the impression of it looking like aluminum, which is why I didn’t go for the black titanium version which I was eyeing. Reminded me too much of the matte black iPhone 7. Natural titanium looks the best to me then the blue titanium. I got the blue cause the natural was sold out everywhere near me.
I can't buy an iPhone for the simple reason that I can't separate my professional life from my personal life... This is ridiculous for a cell phone of this price and focused on work... I can't duplicate applications... for example: Instagram , to have a different account logged separately in each Instagram application, in addition to not having any tab to access/hide these duplicate applications or banking applications, which are safe there... Basic things that Samsung, Xiomi and Motorola have... Let's get this to Apple
Its not overheating, but lot of games are not optimized yet, as a pubg player switching from a 12 pro max to 15 pro max, im very very impressed of my new device performance and how it support heat
Windows Phone Link works on the iPhone so there is some integration between the two ecosystems. I can't speak about the issue of Android watches being supported on the iPhone, as I don't use a smart watch. My pixel buds A series work just fine. This is my first iPhone, (Had an iPod touch 3G back in the day.) and honestly both iOS and Android have more in common today than differences. As Josh pointed out, the flexibility of Android is its core strength, but for most people, they won't know the difference. The way Apple implements its features is different. But functionally similar.
This companies have holographic technology and phones that will be the real upgrade, they just want to make tiny changes every single year to their phones to profit as much as posible for years!🤔😏🤨

The 15 Pro is not made out of titanium and is barely lighter. 19 grams for the Pro Max. The titanium layer is very thing, 1 mm.
