There's always the questions about what the climate measures are going to cost (electric vehicles etc.) but never any talk about the cost of the climate problems now and in the future. What is the cost of the sewerage in the rivers now and if this continues into the future? What is the cost of the increasing numbers of people having health problems due to high temperature levels, having to get treated by the health system? These neo-liberal budget wankers need to be grilled on these questions.

Greens won hands down 🌿first answer = first applause & Ramsey was good at addressing question authentically. He even kept Bruce's nit-picking on track to broader national relevance. Was much more in tune with what people care about. Food security, warmer homes, cheaper energy, infrastructure, realistic affordability etc. Farage wasted too much time defended himself and his new political company, harking back to bygone era and the usually othering of pointing the blame elsewhere. He even blamed the NHS for medical shortages & not Brexit. Unlike Reform, the Green have been steadily building base over a number of years.

The ambulance waiting time was estimated to be 3 hours so I took my wife in our car. Every one of the 7 different medical personnel that my wife had been treated and received advice from was dark-skinned and English was not their first language. I’m sick and tired of hearing poli saying that we are more likely to be treated by immigrants working in the nhs than meeting them in the queue for services. The whole world is experiencing a shortage of health care workers and we need to stop this continual poaching from each other which is out of control. What NEVER seems to get to considered is that not all overseas health qualifications are actually comparable. Competencies need careful cross referencing with uk equivalent to ensure standards are met. The standards are different countries. Given that it’s not essential to have any qualifications to work in social care and training is up the employer the sit-ups ares the life out of me. There is high incidence of abuse in both aged care and disability . The elderly and people with disabilities deserve to be supported by workers with the relevant skills and knowledge which are completely underestimated especially given people are living with more complex conditions and needs.

Your comment about Nigel farage saying he does not want to let people in, in answer to someone asking for asylum is very misleading. Nigel Farage has said many times that he want to reduce legal migration for long enough to let our infrastructure catch up. His actual answer was he wanted to be treated the same as 500,000 people have been treated in recent years that have applied for asylum the lawful way and been accepted. People crossing the sea in boats throwing away their papers and anything to identify them simply put is not legal migration or a lawful attempt to seek asylum.
