Dis Pm there's fiscal value to the craftsmanship, expertise and ethical sourcing. If she came out with a more affordable line I would be on board but still, major props to Lisa being herself!
Katie it's the quality of the stones, same as you can get a cheap diamond and an expensive one, it's dependant on the stones flaws and the craftsmanship in faceting
You're also paying for Lisa's name associated with the jewellery. It would be the same if she brought out her own line in makeup, or brushes, etc. A name brings its own price tag.
Thats what´s disappointing about it...
I worked as a jewelry buyer for a while, and I can only say to those concerned with the price - you can absolutely get these stones set in silver or gold rings for a few hundred dollars (or even less). But the trade off is in the quality and in the creation process. Those more affordable rings are made in sweat shops, with babies on their laps and fans as the only source of cooling. The quality is rarely there, and I’ve seen rings with clouded stones, with poor plating and in some cases that could even fall apart. There are still mid tier options between there and these, made by smaller/independent artisans and shops. But Lisa went to the best of the best for this line - it’s a high end jewelry line with the quality, sourcing, and teams involved that are going to elevate the price. So yes, definitely expensive (I can’t afford most of them either), but not unjustified.

How does fans being source of cooling affect quality? Doesn’t make sense.
Leila Guluzade They mean for the workers. Who are overheated, overworked, and often put at risk of injury and death from poor working conditions. Fans are used, not air conditioning.
I’m glad you said that. I know nearly NOTHING about gemstones, and they are out of my budget right now, but even to me, the prices seemed fair if they were ethically sourced. Thanks for affirming that. Time to start saving for one.
this isnt even true. there are no 'sweatshops' in the us and you can certainly get quality jewelry for far less. i mean its pale citrine....lavender quartz...amethyst, not exactly valuable stones

There is a certain glamor about your country. I am particularly saving up for the emerald and I think the other stone you usually wear is an old cut yellow diamond?? ^^

When I turned 16, my mom passed down a ring to me that her grandmother had bought her for her 16th birthday. It was an aquamarine gemstone with just a little touch of vintage embellishment. I wore the ring on my right ring finger every day for 11 years until one day, without me even feeling it, it fell off my finger when I was working and I never found it. It was a devastating loss because of the sentimental value - my mom cried when I told her. It's been almost 5 years since it happened and I still often get that "phantom limb" sensation on that finger. I have never purchased a piece of real jewelry for myself and rarely wear any jewelry, but I am going to save up for the beautiful cushion cut Meena. What a beautiful color that would bring me a splash of happiness everytime I'd look at it, just like my mom's ring used to. I don't think I could consider wearing another ring where i had worn hers unless it was filled with such sentiment and care and authentic craftsmanship as your lovely rings. I've never been interested in trying to "replace" her ring with another that has no meaning. I am hoping to purchase in 8 months, and will be dreaming of this beautiful ring until then.

Congrats Lisa, I adore your taste and all the thought you put into it. I honestly am bothered by people complaining about the price. Although I probably could never afford a gold one and a silver one would take a lot of effort, I believe the price is justified by the quality, the work and thought put into it. Everything is produced locally and ethically sourced, not mass produced.
Before you complain look at Tiffany & Co - check their ring prices for something that is mass produced, so cuts down A LOT on the costs. That should explain a lot and make you understand that Lisa's rings have the right pricing.
If you can't afford them it's not her fault, a ring is a privilege, it's not a necessity so I don't see why she has to think of a price range to suit everyone.
Alexandra H I totally second what you wrote! 😀 She could have chosen to be careless about the whole process and just slap her name onto the line but she didn't and I totally applaud this! Nobody NEEDS a ring on their life but you CHOOSE to wear one - when I buy jewelry, it is for life and I want to wear these pieces very often if not everyday. Knowing that your ring had everyone be treated correctly and fairly paid in the process of making it is HUGE! Yes, it has taken months to save but soon, I'll be able to buy a silver ring from Lisa's line - it's a treat for myself and I'm glad my hard work will pay for something beautiful AND ethical! 😊💍

Will the current styles come back in stock? I just had migraine surgery, a 10.5 hour nerve decompression surgery in my forehead and nose which I waited and saved for five years for as chronic severe migraines nearly took my life. Now it’s been 21 days since surgery and 21 days MIGRAINE FREE! I’ve been looking for a piece of jewelry to wear for the rest of my new life (it feels indeed like a brand new LIFE) to look down at and remind myself of what I’ve gone through and the strength it took to have the surgery during what is a very long and often difficult recovery period. Sorry for the long story, but the timing of your launch was just perfect as I’ve always loved your personal jewelry. There are a number of rings that would be perfect for me, but all are already sold out so I just thought I’d ask about a restock. Congrats on the launch and THANK YOU!

I'm pleased you found a solution. As a chronic migraine sufferer I understand the pain and devastating impact it has on your life. I have Botox to try to prevent them which is very helpful but isn't a "cure". This is something I will have to research and look into! Have you seen any research or info on it online? Thanks for sharing and all the best!
Amber86queenbee I’m so sorry to hear you have migraines. Absolutely look into the surgery as it has an 85% success rate. The first step is to find a surgeon and see if you are a good candidate for the surgery. There is some great info online. On youtube there is a video of a program with my surgeon, Dr Ahmed Afifi. Look up Ahmed Afifi Migraine surgery and it will come up. It includes interviews with 2 people who’ve had it done. ( He has done over 150 of the surgeries so far). Also search on google, nerve decompression surgery for migraines or just migraine surgery and many sites come up. Please let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to answer them!

My great grandad was a jewelsmith. I remember being about 4 to 6 years old walking around his workshop where he made everything. It's something that stuck with me. I still have a few of his rings, as well as, a few of his bracelets. Which I inherited from my grandma after she passed. My entire house is decorated with stones. I, like yourself, have had an EXTREME fascination with prescious stones as long as I can remember. It's always cool to see others with the same interests. I also learned something new today. The stone in the Elizabeth ring.. I've never heard or seen anything like it before. Now, I have to get my hands on it. Lol - Cheryl

Oh, this is so stunning! I'm not sure whether it's the visual that it's the most pleasing, or the journey of making! In a world of fast, cheap industrial production, my old soul is incredibly appreciative of how much attention went into this jewellery. Unfortunatelly my budget cannot handle these rings (if that counts as a pun, sorry), but if I were a bit more well-off, I'd get myself a couple. Totally worth the price. Congratulations! 💜

augusta2809 The colour tends to change depending on how the light hits it. Sometimes it can look paler like video and other times slightly darker. I would say my stone isn’t quite as dark as the one shown online. Hope this helps 🙂
