CELTA fear is something that everyone experiences at some point during their course. The course itself is a pressure cooker and can be extremely intimidating for those who have little to none experience of teaching before starting.
For this reason, I wanted to address this topic of CELTA fear and give you 5 practical tips to help you stay on top of the nerves and not let it prevent you from doing the course or passing.
I've also written a blog article about CELTA stress in the past and many people appreciated it, so I thought it would be a good idea to address another side to it.
It's also something I experienced myself and I know that it was nerve wracking and not something I would like to do again!
However, if you come out the other end of your CELTA course, you will realise just how much of a valuable experience it has been. Going through this fear on the course can help you to develop in innumerable ways both professionally and personally.
A lot of overcoming the fear for your course depends on you taking a rational and logical approach and thinking about things clearly. Remember, at the end of the day it is only a course that you have chosen to do. Your life does not depend on it!
That being said, once you are up and running, providing you've done enough planning and work, you have nothing to worry about!

I have one week till my celta course starts and unfortunately I suffer from extreme anxiety and self-haterd beside being a complete perfectionist. I have been going through panic attacks regularly and crying hystiraclly alot because I think I might fail it and waste the money and fail to find a job. I'm desperately seeking comfort regarding this matter ...
