I never had any oil consumption issues during my 3 years of ownership. I think as long as you be mindful and check oil levels regularly, it's should not be an issue to prevent you from owning it. Do you live in the US?
They are allowed, you can import them as special interest vehicles, there are certain regulations you have to meet in order to import them, but it's pretty common now a days. Are you based in the US?

@@sundaymorningdrives Thing is most cars are no longer sold here... And those are exclusively in Europe, Australia, etc... Cars like the lotus elise, fiesta st and focus st, toyota gr yaris (though we got the corolla now), etc...
Ya, but US is still the biggest car market for most brands, and prices are generally cheaper compare to other countries. US also has a very good car modification and collection culture as well from what I know 😁
@@sundaymorningdrivesI did JLR passenger side catch can, steeda jacking rails, corsa x pipe/resonator delete, and steeda aluminum coolant expansion tank (I couldnt stand the look of that plastic bubble!!). I put slightly larger tires on once it came time to get new ones only because the stock 295 weren’t in stock(likely Covid issues)… so I went 305F/315R.

I have tracked it for 2 days at Sebring… it was amazing. If you’ve never done it, I highly suggest giving it a try. It opens your eyes to what this car is capable of

@carguy... these Voodoo engines are known for consuming engine oil, so most of these failures are probably due to the lack of attention from owners regularly checking the engine oil levels. If oil is too low, then engine could blow, that's the same for any cars, so as long as you keep monitoring the oil level and maintain the correct oil level, I don't think this engine is that fragile. I had no issues with it whatsoever, and I do drive it hard, haha

Great car but wayyyy to many blown engines. I personally know 3 older guy's who all had to replace engines thru Ford and never raced them or anything.
What was the reason for their blown engines? Oil starvation?
