I honestly think the AGT rifles are up with the FX, Daystate and any other of the current mechanical air guns out there today. I bought the Vixen after trying it, it's so light and compact. I bought the shorter of the two. It's honestly Lazer accurate up to 45 meters and possibly more, my local range is only that long. Also it's so unfussy about pellet brand too. I don't have a FAC so only shoot sub 12 but I absolutely love it 👍👍👍
As someone who's owned many of the more expensive PCP rifles from ,FX,daystate,theoben and so on , I've had the chance to spend 4 wks with one of these , and in my opinion it's every bit as good as the most expensive model of rifle from the above mentioned companies , in fact it felt way more solid than most FX rifles , and the polymer stock makes shooting even better as it can take the knocks without dinging the stock up ( as is often the case with walnut ) I now have on order a Vulcan two in walnut and can't wait for it to arrive ,great rifle that's pellet on pellet at 50 metres .

I purchased an AGT Vulcan 2 around 3 months ago from Vector, and absolutely love it. The change in the design of the butt section with the adjustable cheek piece has got to be a definite improvement, making me slightly jealous. Better start saving up 😆

Bought the Vulcan 2 bullpup after watching your review, well pleased accuracy and functioning it is superb,. trouble is there is nothing to do to make it better! I do like to get less expensive rifles and try to improve handling by doing the hand finishing work that the manufacturers cant afford

There seem yo be so many good rifles to choose from these days, I have just acquired an FX Maverick and love it, most accurate rifle I have owned so far! Good review, keep up the hard work!
Excellent shooting airgun and shooter. The paintball was a nice touch. I like to shoot the micro ping pong balls. They are about the same diameter as paintballs. They have gas in them from the molding process so they make a nice pop and smoke with impact. Box of 200 for $6.79
haha, awesome! i've shot paintballs too, lol. but if you want a really "reactive" target, sidewalk chalk is the way to go, there's no mistaking if you hit it or not! ;) it's very easy to slice it up into little disks and then let the fun begin. Pete
Try hazelnuts as targets.? They're about the same size (maybe a tad smaller) as paintballs, plus you can put them on golf tees, and, they won't spread yellow paint all over the lawn, and, they explode when you shoot them. You can then mow straight over the shrapnel and it won't damage your mower. I also used to get a washing up glove, fill it with plaster of Paris and let it set (string it up to the washing line and hang it). Then peel it out of the glove and set it at your preferred distance. Then shoot the fingers down... Great fun!

The Vulcan 3 is all I have shot, or should I say have been amazed with..... hmmmmm should I use that in competition of stick with brand X???

Nice clean lines, and I really like how the magazines are flush. I see some airguns in this price range and they look look like the plumbing under my kitchen sink, but this one is kind of elegant.

Oh man!! Sweee-Tah!! I'd like one of these. Love the looks, build and performance of it. Love that synthetic stock design. Nice magazines also, that perfectly sits into the body. And the swappable side lever... (Though. Coming already on the left side..😁) Though.. Not many hundreds more, and I'd get a Huben K1...🙄 Had to take another look at the video.. 50 metres suddenly became 50 yards.. But apparently it was immediately corrected to metres (which my ears did not pick up the first time watching...). The 50m result was fantastic. My Sig Sauer Virtus can hit a 14x14cm airgun paper target at 50m - but I can't say it'd be a tight group.🤣 This AGT shot so damn good!👍🏻👍🏻
Morning Andy and team, wonderfull rifle,superb accuracy. Another one for me to ponder. My R10 SE carbine is very accurate but I am a bit of a wuss in regards to taking it out in inclement weather. Maybe this might just be the answer. Mags look a bit fiddly but I guess once you get used to them.... perhaps in .25 for a spot of close to mid range ratting ??? Have you looked at the Reximex range ? Great review cheers Garry
Hi Andy Great video as always buddy AGT are producing some beautiful rifles that are very consistent in power and accuracy, The prices are not over the top either , considering what your getting, I've a Maverick compact in .25 and it's £1500, the Vulcan 2 is as good at 50mtrs, I'd be interested to know if the platform is as versatile as the FX Mavericks. I could never give up my R10TH. It’s a fantastic rifle, had it tuned and added a bigger scope and now I only use it 50mtrs plus. But having tried/ordered the vixen I am really taken by AGT. I’d just buy a bigger gun cabinet, far easier 😂

Great video Andy! (Kid in a candy shop?) But why are Bullpup Air Rifles getting so big? My FX Wildcat Compact Mk3 is Soooo sweet! Short; light; and devastatingly accurate. The new version FX Wildcat adds a great big air bottle to it. It is just obese! . It's good that it's accurate, but I've never accepted the locating of the manometer at the kamikaze end of the barrel. They say, if a lot of people around you seem to be going nuts, you're probably going nuts. When I see so many safety levers a sixteen inch away from the trigger, and working tandum, and then so many manometers on the kamikaze end of the barrels, I think I must be going suicidal.
I have a dreamline and an impact thay are excellent BUT an AGT is noticeably MORE accurate than either. And they dont leak or have off days. I have 3 vulcan 2s .177, .22 and .25 fac my best group with the fac .25 was covered by a 5 pence piece at 75 YARDS rested on my hand on a gun bag. i am confident that on a proper rest it will do under 10mm at that range, bear in mind the pellets are 6.35 mm dia think about it.😃
Another good review Andy. Do me a favour tho and refer to rifles as 'rifles' and pistols as 'pistols'. 'Guns' are mounted on ships or towed behind vehicles 😉. OK. You have started something now, and I need help. Way back in "Lockdown 1" I found your site and started watching. As a shotgun /Clay shooter /misser I became interested in the Air gun world. I had thought about (proper 😣) Rifle shooting but at 70+, the rigamarole for obtaining a license was more than I wanted to bother with. So I went back to my shotguns. My 11-year-old Grandson has just expressed a vague interest in shooting and I want to a) spend some time with him. b) Get him away from the stupid game things and actually learn Responsibility, Respect, skill, dedication, and become more social with club membership.(And it gives me an opportunity to have a go myself... yes I understand setup will not work the same for two people) You have convinced me that the Gamo GX40 is a good starter gun but things like an extra magazine at up to £40 make me think this is not a budget gun. On investigating other makes the Stoeger XM1 also looks a good starter package and extra magazines are only around £14. Have you reviewed this gun yet and what would your advice be? P.S. Yes I am a skinflint.

I have just seen a Gamo Phox for sale used with scope, silencer, and 3L bottle for £500. I don't know what a Phox is. I may give up or buy a break barrel and see how it goes 😣
@@charlesholder8009 I sympathize 😂 I've been looking for a while now, but keep coming back to the RM8 for value. Plus spare mags are only £20, Lol. A phox is exactly the same as a gx40, but with a slightly shorter barrel. They were my first choice too, but now leaning towards the RM8 compact after holding both in a shop. The compact is shorter than the standard RM8, comes with a silencer and is a regulated gun too, while the phox etc aren't. (More shots per fill and better consistency.) The gamo guns are a bit lighter, which may be a plus for your grandson, but the RM8 has a much safer safety set up for a youngster. Was looking at package deals originally, but found most have a very poor scope included. Difficult choices though, there's a lot to choose from. I like to try and buy wisely once, as I too am a skinflint!😊 Hope you and your grandson find a belter and enjoy it together. 👍

Splatter burst targets would be great. Unfortunately on the plain targets we can't see where it hits.

OK. You have started something now, and I need help. Way back in "Lockdown 1" I found your site and started watching. As a shotgun /Clay shooter /misser I became interested in the Air gun world. I had thought about (proper 😣) Rifle shooting but at 70+, the rigamarole for obtaining a license was more than I wanted to bother with. So I went back to my shotguns. My 11-year-old Grandson has just expressed a vague interest in shooting and I want to a) spend some time with him. b) Get him away from the stupid game things and actually learn Responsibility, Respect, skill, dedication, and become more social with club membership.(And it gives me an opportunity to have a go myself... yes I understand setup will not work the same for two people) You have convinced me that the Gamo GX40 is a good starter gun but things like an extra magazine at up to £40 make me think this is not a budget gun. On investigating other makes the Stoeger XM1 also looks a good starter package and extra magazines are only around £14. Have you reviewed this gun yet and what would your advice be? P.S. Yes I am a skinflint.

I have just seen a Gamo Phox for sale used with scope, silencer, and 3L bottle for £500. I don't know what a Phox is. I may give up or buy a break barrel and see how it goes 😣

I've been looking for a while now, but keep coming back to the RM8 for value. Plus spare mags are only £20, Lol.
A phox is exactly the same as a gx40, but with a slightly shorter barrel.
They were my first choice too, but now leaning towards the RM8 compact after holding both in a shop. The compact is shorter than the standard RM8, comes with a silencer and is a regulated gun too, while the phox etc aren't. (More shots per fill and better consistency.)
The gamo guns are a bit lighter, which may be a plus for your grandson, but the RM8 has a much safer safety set up for a youngster.
Was looking at package deals originally, but found most have a very poor scope included.
Difficult choices though, there's a lot to choose from.
I like to try and buy wisely once, as I too am a skinflint!😊

not at sub 12 ftlb, rabbits at 60 yds are doable but wind is a problem at sub 12.
