@@polfig7558 ive had the wildcat but now have a vulcan2 vulcan is better accuracy just , and less seals to Leak so more reliable, these guns are so good you won't sell it, although a bit more expensive than the Wildcat but worth it.
I have to say I really, really like this gun. I used to shoot a lot from around age 12 until I was about 25, so nearly 20 years ago now. I've been been an archer for the last 10 years but a couple of years ago I bought a second hand BSA Super Sport and a Webley Osprey (simply because those were the rifles I had when I was young), as the rabbits have started causing a fair bit of an issue in my garden and as much as I could comfortably take them out by bow, obviously this is illegal and so not an option. Anyway, I've since decided to treat myself (at some point in the near(ish) future) to nice new, PCP air rifle. I've decided to splash out when I can, as... (and sorry for the long winded explanation but I mentioned on another video comment section about looking to get this type of gun and was inundated with people telling me it was too much and a waste of money (not any of Andy's audience members btw!). So this is just to say why before I get similar replies!) ...I nearly died (literally) from Covid at the beginning of the year, was then diagnosed with lung cancer (but fortunately a bit of surgery and radiotherapy seems to have done the trick (fingers crossed for the next few years) - I was very lucky as it was caught so early due to the check ups following being so ill with Covid, every cloud!) But what really made my year rubbish was knowing that I won't be able to go back as active crew on the lifeboat for quite a while ;-(. After my kids and music, the RNLI is the other true love of my life! So, following all this, I have decided to get myself something nice, as at least I am still here, while so many others have not been so fortunate. I always coveted a Theoban or Daystate when I was younger, but as I've decided to buy a new gun, Theoban is out and to be honest once I saw the walnut stock option on the Vulcan, I was sold! I have to say that watching this channel has made purchasing a new gun much easier, as it really helps to have all the knowledge Andy passes on in these videos, before heading to the gun shop. All I need to do now is save up a bit, but it will be worth it (not that the bunnies will agree, though they will be too busy being my dinner to worry I hope!). So thank you Andy, it's much appreciated!

Ive got 22 vulcan 2 laminate and the review didnt surprise me at all ive been singing there praises for the last 18 mth best air gun money can buy mindblowing, build quality is second to none waiting for the vulcan 3 now of vector air in 177 been upgraded in 7 areas massive shot count its like the best of uragan and vulcan 2 rolled into 1 its gonna be next level
Yes me too I have the vulcan2 in .177 black same as Andy just reviewed and I am also waiting on vector air to Get the Vulcan 3 in, although the 2 is never going to be replaced by it just want them both, think I will try and get My hands on a unmolested Vulcan 1 as well so I have the whole set, then hope they add the semi/auto self Indexing magazine to version 4 if and when how good would that be, hopefully these sort of guns will appeal to The younger generation which will help secure the future of airguns.
@@alfredhewitt152 hello mate ive had the vulcan 1 mkn4 in 177 i sold it i changed the cocking bolt to the side lever made a massive difference and a air fective shroud also had the uragan compact in 22 love the vulcan 2 though would never sell it, ive got a matador r5m 22 cal with two stocks and a ffp 4/16/44 up for sale now to fund the vulcan 3 just love AGT, just bought a lovely cheek raiser saying AGT oneside and vulcan 2 on the other of jake bowman jb3d hoestly Alfred it looks like a genuine AGT part. And his responce time was first class it just pimps it up 👌

You want one in FAC, OUTSTANDING! very difficult which is best between the cricket and the vulcan so i got both. So easy to strip and maintain is also a bonus.
Just got the AEA HPSS 25 Today USA Version I need to oil it up a little bit I got a hawk Digital red dot with a ronin on the way When I shot the gun in my basement at my trap good thing I had glasses I used Extreme heavies J&B Some kind of spray came up Lead or from the magazine but it shoots great I only filled it to 3300 it’s a good rat air Without the sights being semiauto This is my first PCP From others and I am very pleased with the velocity probably around 800 with 26 Plus grain I would say near 50 pounds of foot pressure for a pistol that’s crazy Take Care

Bought one after watching the review! it seemed too good to be true, but now I have one and it does what it says on the label! fantastic rifle, fantastic review. might need to change my scope mounts to get the best eye level looks a little bit high compared with Andys Continental scope ( mine is a Hawke 3-12 50mm.)
I was always taught to keep my shooting hand on the gun, never understood why more guns don't have the lever on the left as standard. Makes it much easier and eliminates have to go wrist under rifle. Obviously, I mean when shooting with the right hand.
I know you’re not supposed to be linked as such with Vector Air, but it would be great to do a shop walk around video! A chat with the guys on how they decide to stock what and which items and services you can expect from a shop such as theirs! Just planting a seed as they say lol !
Theres some cool looking airguns out there now that seem to offer good accuracy. Im an old ex FT shooter and unlike most who give up, I still have my airguns so I could rejoin the club and get back into it. I now do archery, which is certainly more challenging to be accurate. Back to those good looking airguns.... They look great but they all seem to be multishot... As an FT shooter, multishot is probably the feature I'd need the least. 1 shot is enough. I can reload my FT rifle without looking, I have no need for a magazine.

With all the greats guns you are showing us. How about an edition where you show proper airgun storage solutions? Most people are probably required to keep theirs locked away but don't need a real gun safe. How do you manage that with a gun addiction? I have converted a tall cabinet but I am running out of room 🙄 Any smart storage solutions out there?
You have just seen it, i have a vulcan 2 in .25 fac my best group which i am sure i can better slightly was 18 mm at SEVENTY FIVE YARDS the gun is doing 47 ftlb at 912fps with jsb 25.39 grn at this power setting it does 53 shots heavier 34 grn pellets will give 55ftlb. If you need more shots the full length Uragan at this caliber will give 70 plus shots.
I own quite a few bullpups, in 9mm, 10mm, and .45. Many of them cost far less than this air rifle...I have a few .22 caliber bullpups with suppressors which are about as quiet and cost far less than this air rifle. To each his own, but I just can't figure out the appeal of airguns. Still, you''re obviously having fun, so do you, brother!
The fact that you can shoot an air rifle in your backyard is enough for me. The technics used, the craftmanship,... It's all worth it. Let's talk again when you shot 50 000 shots through your guns and i shot 50 000 through my uragan. Let's see who spend most at the end. A tin of the best ammo you can buy is €13/ 500 shots. How much are you shooting for €13?
My gunshith set my vulcan 2 so it can be on safe without being cocked. I don't know if people mind this, but for someone like me that likes it to be on safe even when not charged, it can be done. Not sure how to do this though

I want the Vulcan mk2 tactical ,it's a slightly different stock, it turns the gun into (I suppose ) a semi bullpup, but I've tried everywhere in England and no gun shops can get me that version ,very annoying.
Ah, I owe an apology. I didn't even think about the fact that firearms laws are SO restrictive in some places...I live in Texas. Airguns are about all you folks can have in your country. Now I understand the appeal. My apologies, have fun with 'em..they are pretty interesting, I bought an Airforce Texan in .308, and it's a slick setup. It is pretty loud, but the SS really limited the gun, so I avoided it. I bought a compressor and a big tank, which is great, but that little foot pump...wow! It can pump some serious pressure.
Well, it looks like Andy needs to move forward as the Vulcan 3 is released! Keep the good work Andy! One word on AGT, they really need to improve their homepage/info. Very poor for the quality of the guns they produce.
@Gainstrup Yes, and even the current ones they only have the minimum information on it. One good thing is that you contact them and they answer, I own an Uragan and I am very happy with it. When you visit the site, is so disappointing, which contrast with the so professional video on the Vulcan 3 release that they uploaded on youtube. They are not taking advantage of the excellent airguns they produce...
Andy. How do you think this Vulcan 2 stacks up against the Mk3 FX Wildcat compact? The Wildcat seems to be head and shoulders above, is cheaper and more configurable. I'd appreciate your honest thoughts. Cheers matey.

Popped into Vector today and shouldered the Vulcan and saw that target. Already decided to get one but the review certainly helps. The only problem - do I wait for the V3? Will want 22 FAC plastic. Review the V3 asap please.

Sounds like a quote from Lenin? Although would Vladimir Ilich had approved of 'the few'?On a none historical note those air gauges where you have to look into the barrel also are very worrying since even if it wasn't loaded a blast of air at close range could damage the eye 👁️.
You didn't mention that it bears a strong resemblance to an FX Wildcat. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, though. As good as the Vulcan clearly is, I won't be trading in my Wildcat to get one. Good review, Andy.
Might look similar but I can assure you that's where it stop, I had a wildcat before I bought the vulcan 2 bullpup and the vulcan is definitely superior in every way, only downside is it cost more than a wildcat but its definitely worth the extra
@@alfredhewitt152 At the thick end of fifteen hundred quid, I'm not about to test the difference, my friend (can't afford to). My Wildcat has served me well since I bought it and it's a Mk I. It is still more accurate than some newer guns and, when all is said and done, it's accounted for plenty of rabbits for human and pet food. I like the look of the Vulcan2, and will wish you good shooting with yours. Thanks for your reply. All the best and stay safe.
@@s10m0t10n yes the wildcats are good for what they are I shoot over 2,500 acres and mine also accounted for many rabbits for the pot and for my 3 gundogs but it did have it's issues basically they are over complicated and have far to many seals to leak,as did mine unlike the Vulcan which is by far a better and more reliable design and tbo the new wildcats are only a couple of hundred pounds less so value for money a no brainer I'd say 👍

Unrested 5p group at 40 yards?! Were they lazer guided pellets?
Its easy with this gun, if you really try you can put 5 pellets through a single pellet hole with jsb heavies!

Hi how would you compare the build quality of these compared to the huben? £1400 is a fairly high price for a plastic stock gun, do you think it'll last some years!?

Most people are probably required to keep theirs locked away but don't need a real gun safe. How do you manage that with a gun addiction?

You have just seen it, i have a vulcan 2 in .25 fac my best group which i am sure i can better slightly was 18 mm at SEVENTY FIVE YARDS the gun is doing 47 ftlb at 912fps with jsb 25.39 grn at this power setting it does 53 shots heavier 34 grn pellets will give 55ftlb. If you need more shots the full length Uragan at this caliber will give 70 plus shots.

I own quite a few bullpups, in 9mm, 10mm, and .45. Many of them cost far less than this air rifle...I have a few .22 caliber bullpups with suppressors which are about as quiet and cost far less than this air rifle. To each his own, but I just can't figure out the appeal of airguns. Still, you''re obviously having fun, so do you, brother!
The fact that you can shoot an air rifle in your backyard is enough for me. The technics used, the craftmanship,... It's all worth it.

My gunshith set my vulcan 2 so it can be on safe without being cocked. I don't know if people mind this, but for someone like me that likes it to be on safe even when not charged, it can be done. Not sure how to do this though

I want the Vulcan mk2 tactical ,it's a slightly different stock, it turns the gun into (I suppose ) a semi bullpup, but I've tried everywhere in England and no gun shops can get me that version ,very annoying.
So many awesome guns ✌️ so little money 🙁

A nice rifle but I do not like or see the value of the plastic "scaffold-like" support behind the grip to the end of the stock.

Ah, I owe an apology. I didn't even think about the fact that firearms laws are SO restrictive in some places...I live in Texas. Airguns are about all you folks can have in your country. Now I understand the appeal. My apologies, have fun with 'em..they are pretty interesting, I bought an Airforce Texan in .308, and it's a slick setup. It is pretty loud, but the SS really limited the gun, so I avoided it. I bought a compressor and a big tank, which is great, but that little foot pump...wow! It can pump some serious pressure.
How long did it take you, to master the Vulcan salute?
I like the looks of the Uragan better. The Vulcan 2 like every other synthetic bullpup on the market with a little more class in the design.

Well, it looks like Andy needs to move forward as the Vulcan 3 is released! Keep the good work Andy! One word on AGT, they really need to improve their homepage/info. Very poor for the quality of the guns they produce.
@Gainstrup Yes, and even the current ones they only have the minimum information on it. One good thing is that you contact them and they answer, I own an Uragan and I am very happy with it. When you visit the site, is so disappointing, which contrast with the so professional video on the Vulcan 3 release that they uploaded on youtube.
They are not taking advantage of the excellent airguns they produce...

How do you think this Vulcan 2 stacks up against the Mk3 FX Wildcat compact?
The Wildcat seems to be head and shoulders above, is cheaper and more configurable.

Popped into Vector today and shouldered the Vulcan and saw that target. Already decided to get one but the review certainly helps. The only problem - do I wait for the V3? Will want 22 FAC plastic. Review the V3 asap please.

My Crosman Fire single shot can take off a bottle cap at 20 yards. 170 bucks all in at Canadian Tire.
What happened with that last three shots? Was that your fault or the scope/gun fault?
I believe what you were seeing was the ricochet inside the trap after pellet went through same hole.
That isnt pellets, it shrapenel from the pellets hitting the hard backstop after going thro an empty hole!

You didn't mention that it bears a strong resemblance to an FX Wildcat. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, though. As good as the Vulcan clearly is, I won't be trading in my Wildcat to get one. Good review, Andy.
Might look similar but I can assure you that's where it stop, I had a wildcat before I bought the vulcan 2 bullpup and the vulcan is definitely superior in every way, only downside is it cost more than a wildcat but its definitely worth the extra
@@alfredhewitt152 At the thick end of fifteen hundred quid, I'm not about to test the difference, my friend (can't afford to). My Wildcat has served me well since I bought it and it's a Mk I. It is still more accurate than some newer guns and, when all is said and done, it's accounted for plenty of rabbits for human and pet food. I like the look of the Vulcan2, and will wish you good shooting with yours. Thanks for your reply. All the best and stay safe.
@@s10m0t10n yes the wildcats are good for what they are I shoot over 2,500 acres and mine also accounted for many rabbits for the pot and for my 3 gundogs but it did have it's issues basically they are over complicated and have far to many seals to leak,as did mine unlike the Vulcan which is by far a better and more reliable design and tbo the new wildcats are only a couple of hundred pounds less so value for money a no brainer I'd say 👍
