You can use the path vertex group as a mask for the path material, using the attribute node and a color ramp for more control insted of creating a new image texture.

Worst thing to do is skip steps in a tutorial bro. I'm confused at 5:52 . Did you select both the leaves and ground? Also how did you get the extra mix shader and where did the other noise texture come from. Instead of seeing a dirt path im seeing something else.
Same, got stuck on that bit as well. Gonna go look for a different tutorial that doesn't skip steps. I appreciate the free information, but skipping steps makes it harder to follow along and learn.

i don’t like your cuts. you cut way too much and you don’t show the full navigation. i got way too confused around 5:46 and couldn’t find which vector to connect it to.

Даже не думал что в блендере можно делать такие крутые анимации. Какой нужен компьютер чтобы такое делать, и сколько это рендерится?
Любой комп подойдёт на windows, Linux, даже Mac.
Если нет видео карты и процессор очень слабый, можно настроить рендер на удаленной машине. Единственный минус сервисы с удаленными видеокартами платные, ну и разобраться как что делать. Час работы виртуальной машины стоит примерно 15-20 рублей в зависимости от арендуемой видео карты. Так что можете на домашнем или рабочем компьютере сделать проект, а отрендерить на удаленном. 100-200р в месяц уж можно на творчество потратить 😊
я ничего не рекламирую, просто подсказываю как сделать можно чтобы без особых затрат на новый компьютер.

I used trees from the addon sapling tree gen, but when I tried to randomize them, the foliage, bones and the tree itself were separate from each other, how can I fix this?
You can convert the leaves from curves to mesh by pressing F3 and search Convert Mesh. Then select both trunk and leaves and press Ctrl+J to Combine. Then you can use it however you want.

Be sure to go about subdividing exactly as shown in this video. He adds 100 cuts, not 100 subdivisions which is a LOT more
For reference, 100 cuts would produce 10201 points. 100 subdivisions would produce 1.6*10^60 points which would definitely blow up your computer

The moment you went bontiq route you made it difficult for anyone and im super salty about it.
Everything you make is really usefull and cool, but could you stop using paid addons? For example I'm having truble everytime when you're using botaniq, I just dont know how to do things youre doing, and thats so expensive addon
And, i can't do anything further because you used here botaniq, I just don't know what to do with the grass from poly heaven. Its like an texture not collection or asset I could use, so nice tutorial but not explained step by step

Are you guys really that daft? You expect people to make add ons like Botaniq with amazing foliage assets and a ton of control over each asset for free? You've either got to be children or you just don't know how the world works.

The video isn’t called “how to use Botaniq” and it’s misleading that he uses a plug-in for most of what he’s “teaching” us. As I said, I even paid this loser money for his demo scene only to get an empty file. There was no warning that without this paid add-on it would be useless.

hi, it would be best if you decrease the density of the distribute points on faces node to a really low number like 0.001. Then if the density looks low you can increase it slowly. This will definitely work.
