Regarding if texture paint is not painting despite following all the steps...
If anyone is still banging their heads about it, make sure Texture Paint is on. Then, click on the tool icon on the right bar (the wrench/screwdriver above the render button). On the brushes, there is a shield, add new brush, and X. Click the X to remove the brush. Then click new brush. The cursor should now be red. It should now work.
For whatever reason, you have to remove the current brush and then add a new one. Make sure you do it in that order because simply adding a new brush by itself won't solve this.

Hi Bro3D, i have a question. How did you iluminate the scene? just putting the sun? or what other objects did you put to create that ilumination. Thank you so much
Yeah I only used a sun. And to make clouds shadows, I used a plane with noise texture in the alpha channel and that's all. But if you find that the shadows are very dark you can add an hdri with low strength.

Yupp , I would note that.
i cant get the mix shader right. i have a poly haven texture grass then poly haven dirt texture opening shading it only has the grass nodes. I copied the principal bsdf and created 3 image texture nodes for diff, rough and nor ( i skipped displacement). and created texture coordinate and mapping.
so now i have
Texture Coordinate 1, Mapping 1 for the Grass texture to Principal BSDF 1 then mix shader to material output
Texture Coordinate 2, Mapping 2 for Dirt Texture to Principal BSDF 2 --------> ↑
when changing mix shader value i still cant see the dirt shader after going FAC shader to 0 or 1
And hence cant finish the series..

Hey question, why yhe mountain look ugly on mine?
I am sure i did everything correct, but it doesn't seems right, the mountain look very low poly, even when i tried texture, the texture became some what not visible/ugly

Hello Bro, I'm kinda stuck on the texture painting part, I just can't get a ground mask that cover all the area of my plane, It's just a small square, and when ever I try to texture paint, it does texture paint, but the patern I draw repeat itself on the mesh, I have no clue what I did wrong D:

Can u make a tutorial on later blending of the ground with more than 3 textures ....like the mud grass and ground ☺️
For that you can plug in two mix shaders, each with seperate weight maps, so you're mixing the first two maps together, and mix the result of that with a third map
