So… this is great debate about this, but I use general metal bobbins. I almost never use the plastic ones the machine comes with. You can use the metal or the plastic, just pick one or the other. The housing becomes acclimated to what you choose.

You certainly can try it but it may not work. I would first check to make sure the shank is a 90 degree shank and not an angled one like on a Bernina.

Thanks! Most modern machines have 1 plug that splits to the foot pedal and the outlet. once it's plugged into the machine and power, turn on the machine, you should be able to press the pedal and it will go.

no use metal bobin damage machine is no real good information

You can use metal bobbins. I just do not suggest that you go back and fourth between metal and plastic. Your bobbin housing gets used to the shape of the bobbins right from the start. Even a plastic bobbin will create a groove. It all comes down to preference and budget.
