I just purchased this sewing machine a few weeks ago and have seen the lint accumulating - but had no idea how to take things apart to clean it out. Thank you so much for this instructional video! Your help is appreciated.

WOW NEEDLE THREADER! I have to check out mine . I didn't know what the white thing was for until watching this as well as the screwdriver tool!!!
You are a fantastic teacher. Thank you
That is a very informative video for us new users to sewing and I will remember it for my machine.
Thank you!! Not so much different from my old faithful but this is SO helpful!!!!
Excellent videos 👍 thank you.
This gal has it down pat! Thank you. The cam on this machine I find a bit tricky to drop the bobbin case into but I'm going to keep practicing til I get it quickly. I get so much lint in mine as I use my machine every day. Keep it clean or your machine may lock up and break, that happened to me too! Yikes!
FANTASTIC VIDEO❗️THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH❗️❗️❗️❤️
❤😊Thanks Ms for your wonderful video...
Thank you, this video has been very helpful : )
Very clear. Never know how to use needle threader!
glad we could help
Thank you!!
Muchas gracias por la demostración
im planning on mostly working with nylon for packs, and using bonded nylon thread. will those put off that much lint?
Where can I find the thing you had to put the needle back in? I have the hardest time, it seems I'm all thumbs! LOL
When do u know you need to put oil in it?
Mine makes a knocking noise ... I'm going to oil it and see if it helps
Do you oil the Brother cs6000i bobbin case the same way?
Hello. I went through the video very carefully and put the machine back together and now my stitch selector doesn’t work. What am I missing?
What if my needle plate won't go back on completely flush? This is a newer machine for me and the first time I cleaned it, I didn't really look to see how flush the needle plate was. When I put everything back together, it seemed the needle plate wasn't as set in as it should be. Any comments?
I had the same problem. You need to tuck the plastic tab near the graphic of the bobbin under the small metal box and then snap the needle plate back in!
How the hell she take that black part so easy
Lol omg that was exactly my reaction too!! She makes it look so easy! It's def harder to do than that, at least it was for me. I kept at it tho & it finally came out. Just keep trying & u'll get it.
Now if i can just get the darn thing back in...
I don't like that I will have to take it every year to be oiled. Sewing machine long ago had oiling holes so that the consumer could oil it themselves.
You can oil it yourself.
@@jonigordon6596 How?
The video just showed you. Please watch it again.
@@jonigordon6596 the video only showed how to oil the bobbin area, then said to take the machine to the shop once a year. What about the rest of the machine? My old machines didn't need to be taken to the shop because they had oil ports and could be opened to clean the rest of the machine.
He took the entire machine apart and showed everywhere that oil should go. I just finished mine. It's purring like a kitten and sewing beautifully. If you sew a lot, your machine should go in for yearly maintenance anyway.
My bobbin case is not coming out ... 😪😪😪
I usually loosen the screws on the right hand side that keeps the bobbin case in
@@julesyan thanks, this helped me.
thank you i had the same problem
