Would you really consider Pyramid head a "stalker" enemy when his encounters are scripted? Doesn't "stalk" you from room to room. Walter is a true stalker enemy
Not really. I'd rather call the ghosts in 4 stalker enemies, although they also don't fit the description 100%, but it's closer than Pyramid Head in my opinion, Maybe the remake changed it though, as I haven't played it yet. In 4 the ghosts at least stalk areas so they also kinda stalk you in a way, albeit not directly.
I mean I think he's still considered a stalker enemy, just not your traditional stalker seen in typical survival horror games. In fact, I think I said that specifically in the video but not sure. I agree that the ghosts and Walter Sullivan are more of traditional stalkers enemies in SH4. In fact, that I know I said in the video lol. I was just pointing out all of the enemies that are viewed as stalkers in the silent hill franchise, but obviously for the lack of traditional and iconic stalkers, silent hill doesn't move up past 10.
Sure it doesn't chase you from room to room like Mr. X for example, but it does torment you throughout the whole game, it's a recurring enemy so it can be considered a stalker...
I say the best stalker would be Mr X in Resident Evil 2 Remake, he literally patrols the police station so you never know where and when he might appear.
One of the most greatly terrifying stalker enemies for me is the Ink Demon from Bendy and the dark revival. You can't predict his appearing, in one moment everything becomes darker and you hear him coming. You can't outrun him, fight or even see him, and if there's no place to hide you just know you're screwed and he gets you no matter what
NSG: Clock Tower has four games. 1st Fear/Rewind, Clock Tower 2 (Clock Tower PS1 in US/EU), Clock Tower: Ghost Head (Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within in US) and finally Clock Tower 3. Haunting Ground WAS to be Clock Tower 4, but it was then decided it should be its own unrelated game by Capcom.
idk if i would count it as the best but haunting ground stalker enemies def traumatised me the most, they made resident evil stalkers look like nothing
I’ll be honest, Jack Baker gave me some hard white knuckle moments in RE7, especially when I did my less than unprepared Mad House run as a second playthrough. Mr. X on the other hand, there were time where I could hear him coming but there were other times I had to pause the game to catch my breath because he’d bust down a wall or just show up out of no where.
The Evil Within is my favorite survival horror game, but to be honest with you, I don't think Laura in the first game should really count. Mostly because instead of stalking she appears and yiu run for the hills.
I really love your videos and you’re one of a handful creators I subscribed to, but those lists always feel like you really bent the truth to get to ten. Maybe it’s just my opinion of the term, but an encounter at a scripted place and moment, ISN‘T stalking. That goes for several on your list. Especially the RE franchise. I love RE for 26 years now, but except Remake-Mr.X, there are no stalker enemies. You only encounter Nemesis (both original and remake) in scripted moments. Yes, he then follows - but only until you escape or defeat him. He’s no stalker… Jack Baker also only shows up scripted and then hunts you until you find a safe spot. And even for Remake-Mr.X they had to break the Saveroom-Rule so he can pass the main hall. Otherwise even he wouldn’t be able to suddenly show up 😕 Anima in TEW2 has a fixed movement pattern. That’s also far from stalking, also she only shows up at several locations with some of them being optional
I heavily disagree. Most stalkers out there in general are scripted. Just because they are scripted to appear at a specific time doesn’t make them less of a stalker. Just more predictable. Also, don’t forget after you activate Anima she can and will pop up randomly as you’re exploring the two open world sections of the game until your last encounter with her. So she’s not completely fixed to those encounters. Even if she was though, she still “stalks” the player hence where I still consider her a stalker enemy. Again, all my opinions on the topic but from my perspective almost every stalker is scripted minus a few here and there (like Xenomorph)
Once Human had 2 stalker enemies that were a welcome break from their normal game-play loop. Towards the end of the Manibus Scenario, a tree monster chases you around, it stops if you look at it, but if it gets too close, the fatal hug ends up with the charater being erased from the memories of everyone in town. Causing strife and discord. The second one is a little more traditional, Rosetta Experiment Mr. Ames is now an invinvible monster and an old man confined to a wheel chair, kill the one to end the other, but run around and find key cards first.
Sorry long ass list of outlast stalkers, but point is that the franchise def deserves number 2 on this list just behind RE. Hell, there’s an argument that could be made about it deserving number 1
Folks the enemies on the list are what Stalkers and harassers are. Not people with disabilities. I'm just saying this because I was considered "harassing someone" and I'm just an innocent person with Aspergers/Mild Autism. I was standing up for myself. Never let anyone stop you from standing up for yourself if your cause is good that is.
Because there’s a long list of stalkers in outlast and I only had a short amount of time to cover it. So I pointed out some of the bigger ones, but you’re right the whistleblower doc stalkers are some of the most terrifying of the series. Regardless, that’s why I ranked outlast number 2 because of the long list of good stalkers in the series
Neither are sequels. There’s plenty of alien games, but alien: isolation is its own game. That being said, alien isolation 2 is a thing now and we’ll get it eventually
Kinda stupid to only make a list that is for the games that have more than one main title to it. To me that doesn’t make sense. Some of the best games with stalkers are one main title games and that it’s.
I’ve covered the best stalker enemies in horror games earlier this year and the reason I decided to do franchises this time is because a majority of that list I did back then would have featured the same games. Alien Isolation, Haunting Ground, etc. Doing franchises allowed the list to show off new series with iconic stalkers that wasn’t on that list while also showcasing ones that were.

Fr dude
no Alien Isolation though? Xenomorph was the best in the category
Best stalker ever tbh, but as I said at start of video alien isolation isn’t a franchise yet.
Heh didn't know I liked many franchises with stalker enemies in them. Especially when it comes to RE, SH, Outlast, and even Clock Tower.
???
NSG:
Clock Tower has four games.
Gotcha. Knew that Haunting Ground was the spiritual successor to clock tower, but didn’t know clock tower 2 had 2 games. Must have missed that.
Yes Resident Evil is my favorite
Another GREAT list.
Thank you!!!
idk if i would count it as the best but haunting ground stalker enemies def traumatised me the most, they made resident evil stalkers look like nothing
Mentioned that in intro of video, but didn’t count that or alien isolation because they are not franchises
Love the resident evil 2 theme song playing in the background 😍
at the same time i love this kind of horror game, im terrified to play it.
loved the list!
Thank you!

A great list! I loved it. Thank you for this one
Your video came in time i started to play the original resident evil 3 for the first time and im looking for games like these ❤
Who is here remembering Clock tower from old John Tron
The Evil Within is my favorite survival horror game, but to be honest with you, I don't think Laura in the first game should really count. Mostly because instead of stalking she appears and yiu run for the hills.

we need a good nemesis for modern gen man

The Janitors in White Day were also pretty creepy. This was a good list.
I knew resident evil would come first❤
Definitely agree with your number one spot (:
Resident evil stalker enemies gave me chills
Alien from Alien isolation.
Right, I thought that would be an ez choice
Jack Bajer had me jumping and I only saw the walkthrough I didn’t even play it lol
I really love Mr X
Father Loutermilch: "Am I a joke to you!?"
Of course RE would come first. It has the most iconic stalker enemies of all time
I still love mr.x and Nemesis but the one game i never heard of is Remothered maybe due to the fact i dont play horror games much
Same. I think I might request it next poll.
It’s actually a decent game. It does get a bit annoying due to how easy the stalkers can see you but overall it’s a fun game
Should do resident evil meme tier list
What a crime to not mention Eddie Gluskin in the Outlast section.
Sorry long ass list of outlast stalkers, but point is that the franchise def deserves number 2 on this list just behind RE. Hell, there’s an argument that could be made about it deserving number 1
Aww I didn't make the list...I just end up with a restraining order
ONLY THE Original Players Knows How Terrifying outlast (2013) is! you got cut your fingers in main story and almost lost your balls!
Marble hornets will bring a new slenderman fear lol
Imo Jack Baker on madhouse is the scariest in the RE franchise
Another good stalker enemy is the Onoskelis from Agony
Top however many stalker enemies themselves if you ain't done a video of that already?
Yup did it! On my channel as my most successful video actually lol
Whats the name of the Song at 0:00
I knew resident evil was on the list

I named the hunter form dead space Betsy
Lmao nice
who's on the thumbnail next to pyramid head?
Marta from Outlast 2
Anima one of the creepiest
🔥
Pyramid head can be argurd isnt a stalker
Facts
It's official the best stalker is granny😂
How…on…earth did you go through the Outlast enemies and NOT mention The Groom or the Cannibal? 💀
Because there’s a long list of stalkers in outlast and I only had a short amount of time to cover it. @@NerdSpaceGamesI totally get it, I’m sorta half-trolling you ;-)
Yes sirrr!
Alien: Isolation actually has 2 sequels Alien: Blackout which takes place after isolation, and Alien: Rogue incursion which is tied to Isolation
Neither are sequels. There’s plenty of alien games, but alien: isolation is its own game. That being said, alien isolation 2 is a thing now and we’ll get it eventually
