im sorry but i really don't buy that "ethan was dead" thing- it sounds like a lame excuse they made up to epxlain why ethan's voice actor was so crappy in RE7 (seriously he sounded so wooden getting injured in the game- and he got freaking chainsaw'd BEFORE he was infected/died so it's not a prejudice thing or whatever. They seriously should've gone with Clancey as the main character, so much more voice quality, relateability, and believable character than Ethan was...)

The wesker boss fight was a nightmare me and ma dad spent 2 hours of that fight then we searched up how to Beat him then we found out all we had to do is hit his weak spot then just go behind him a grab him like we kep going behind him and it never showed the option luckily after we saw that video we were able to beat him

I think mother Miranda is pretty easy but on village of shadows oof it took tow weeks to beat it.from easy to hard core I think it’s pretty much the same un till village of shadows then it’s a nightmare 😂

SH2 would have to be my game of the year. I am about halfway through with Black Myth Wukong though and it's giving it a run for it's money. Lol.

I’ve listened to you talk about Still Wakes the Deep in two of these videos now and I still don’t understand why you like it. I found it to be very boring, with a mediocre story and not much for redeeming qualities that dragged on too long. Usually stalker games or walking sims have very interesting environments or stories to keep you moving forward.

Im a Resident Evil fan, i got silent hill and it looks stunning, and has good reviews, and with its success i bet there will be new remakes from SH, my main criticism is the save points are too restrictive, the combat isnt bad but its repetitive, and goes to my third point the enemies are repeititve and it doesnt make them as scary since you encounter the grunts so often and are easy to manage, thats a similar issue to RE7 the enemies were repetitive and seemed like sponges

Glad you did'nt put dlc trophies because RE7 has the most difficult and tedius trophies on RE history

That Mouthwashing game looks very interesting (: And I like Crow Country as well. Silent Hill 2 definitely blew me away (: It was my game of the year and I was really sad and didn't get the love it deserved at the game awards.

Silent Hill 2 Remake was the highlight of my year! I’d been looking forward to it since the teaser trailer back in 2022. Hopefully there will be more Silent Hill in 2025.

I have something embarrasing to admit, i can never avoid the snakes behind the crank thing, so it allways makes me nervous im gonna die poisoned if i ran out of blue herbs, wich never happened in the history of re 1 (remake) but idk those fucking snakes make me more anxious than the maze

Silent Hill 2 is easily my favorite game this year. Hopefully, we will get Resident Evil 9 in 2025.

Happy New Year, Ruben! While I haven't played a lot of horror games last year, I'm happy to see that the horror genre is growing in mainstream gaming. I loved Silent Hill 2 Remake and Still Wakes the Deep. And I have yet to check out Mouthwashing, Crow Country and A Quiet Place.

What makes revelations even more difficulty is the limited ammount of healing items you can carry (5). For me this game have the most difficult final boss of the franchise (at least of all the RE i have played, and i played the majority of the titles since 1997). Getting the rocket launcher was hellish. Playing as Parker or any other character but Jill was insane. The final boss on Claire playthrough in the hardest difficult made me spend all my ammo. I mannaged to beat him (after dying A LOT) with the clock with less than 1 minute left and i used even the shock weapon (was my final hope after spending everything else). I could not believe i did it after so many tries and almost giving up and restarting the game to spare some grenade launcher ammo (that i used a lot on the Birkin fight in the lab). RE 3 remake ia very difficult if you don't use the rocket launcher. RE 7 at the begining is insane (fighting Mia) and RE Village i can remember the famous shack and the Chris segment.

Some not all questions are answered in the book versions.

My favourites are the eliminators in RE0, its always funny seeing something 2 feet tall make streamers rage

U know its ironic : spencer had everythin he needed to become an immortal god king at his disposal,all he needed was alex's mind transfer tech,alberts uroboros virus,and a synthetic body made outta both weskers genetics (given albert is the most superior physically wise while alex is most superior intellectual wise) he coulda transferred a copy of his mind into said body,before gettin infected with uroboros,thus awakening in a new powerful body that i think would neg diff any RE villain includin miranda,if he had only played his cards right instead of tryina infect the body he was birn with a perfect virus,i mean even T phobos which was Farrr more forgivin when it comes to superhuman qualifications wouldn't have worked on him given hw frail and old his body was

- Rodrigo could be the pilot who helps Claire and Steve escape the island, and ends up being eventually murdered by Alfred at the Umbrella Antarctic Base. I always thought it was nonsense that Steve, a 17-year-old boy, could fly a plane with excellence. - I'm not concerned about Steve. Capcom has already proven that it is now reliable in developing characters and hire good voice acting. - Sorry, that woke agenda stuff is bullish*t. People who argue about that, are not gamers. Also, Alfred dresses like his sister, due to the psychological disorders caused by loneliness. He is bipolar. The character is not making fun or is vilifying gays or transvestites. - I don't know if we really need to get a Wesker boss fight. Actually, I really enjoyed the way Darkside Chronicles portraits him, more like a character acting in the shadows. I would save the final showdown for an eventual RE5 remake.

Dead Space s just one of the best horror games out there. !

Seiko was fated to die once she entered heavenly host elementary. In the book of shadows game which just lets you see more fleshed out versions of the wrong endings. Naomi saves her only for Seiko (spoiler and trigger warning) to be beheaded by a piano wire while the girl I red laughs at her death saying something eerie about how once your die here your fate is sealed and you can’t save them. They’ll just died an even more gruesome death. Personally love the corpse party series. Not a huge horror fan but enjoyed playing all the games.

I'm confused. Aren't most of these side characters? And is Ethan really dead? ( After research, Ethan is dead. So how'd he have a kid?) Ethan confuses me the most.

I will say it’s just a strange case with Ethan. You would think the BSAA would be capable of detecting that he isn’t fully “human” anymore. Mia can sense it probably from the sheer damage she’s seen him withstand, but I guess nobody questioned his miraculous healing powers. They knew he got infected in 7 but everyone assumed they cured him before 8. Also what would’ve happened if none of village took place? Would ethan just age and die like a normal person? Why was the mold dormant? No visions of Evelyn until he literally got his heart torn out. It was a good twist but the more you think about it the less sense it makes.🤔🤔🤔
