Chris the boulder fist should get a honorary mention. the feat he accomplished with his fist is infamous among RE fans and villain alike. look at how Heisenberg call him boulder punching asshole lol
It's crazy that a literal orbital laser bombardment is on 5th place. We need more batshit insane weapons in RE9. Perhaps something like the solar station in Revelations 1.
lol if the orbital laser instantly killed Aheri, I would rank it higher. But considering how many shots it takes to kill aheri, I couldn’t put it higher than other entries above it haha
I gotta give Alexander Ashford props. Even given the lore behind him. He not only created Alexia & Alfred, but made one of the most powerful weapons just incase Alexia went crazy and tried to take over the world. I really do hope we get more story on him in the remake.
Linear launcher was my favorite weapon in the franchise growing up, and i loved the voice of the computer when you activated the railgun in the original RE3!
lol I almost specifically brought this up in the video to use as an example, but I assumed people would get what I meant when I said only weapons the playable characters used directly. Obviously I was mistaken lol Clearly missiles, nukes, exploding facilities, etc are going to out do any weapon on this list haha
What’s even crazier is that in the original resident evil 3, there’s a random statement from the biohazard 3 guidebook where the director randomly compares the bomb that destroyed raccoon city to the rail gun
Problem is the rail gun didn't kill nemesis in the og re3. The magnum did, I get ur point tho and u realized it was gonna be controversial. Pretty good list overall tho. Good job
Nothing like having a pretty powerful badass weapon to take out strong BOWs or just using in general whether in a final fight or just available as an unlockable weapon. I will say pretty much every magnum, rocket launchers, and the PRL 412 are my personal favorite when it comes to the strong powerful weapons in all of RE.
The S.T.A.K.E magnum is very good. I don't know how good it would be in other games because the damage and health systems are completely different. But I know that it does max damage to bosses, so I think it is the best magnum
@@NerdSpaceGames nice one. I’ve been going back threw the games reading all the files and things, thanks to your content getting me back into it and was amazed how different the games felt being more thorough and that got me thinking wow a lot of bad decisions had to be made to get us where we are in the resi story so far.
I don’t know if you’d count it as a rocket launcher cos it’s called cannon in the game, but the tank you use in the Heisenberg fight seemed pretty powerful lol. I also agree with doing a video of the best or most powerful magnums.
This franchise has demonstrated time and again from day one (or zero) that magnums are more powerful than grenade launchers. Also, the linear launcher was renamed the charged particle rifle in Dead Aim.
If I'm not mistaken maybe even the particle rifle from Resident Evil: Dead Aim can be suitable as a strong weapon. Anyway, Chris' fists are still the best :D
Spoilers about the number 1 pick: At first, I had an issue about the number 1 pick overtaking the Rocket Launcher, that is until I remembered that the Railgun not only went through and exploded the final Nemesis in RE3make, but the shot kept going and also blew a hole through several walls. A rocket launcher would only put a hole in one wall at best so definitely agree with the railgun being #1 now :)
Real life miniguns weigh aboit 600lbs with the power supply, without even worrying about the ammo. Boulder punching is onw thing, but Chriss carrying that ammo pack is a stretch.
How is the railgun more powerful than a blast from a satellite? Both were used in one game and required multiple hits to down the one boss you fight them with.
At least with my logic, I had a few reasons why. For one, the railgun has more comparisons that could be made thanks to it killing an enemy that storywise, survived the second most powerful weapon of the franchise: the rocket launcher. Railgun may have only appeared in one game, but when comparing its feat to the rocket launcher, in my eyes it actually had a little more to go on than the LTD. Another piece of evidence that I took into consideration the both the LTD & Laser Pointer is how it took down both bosses. The railgun used a max of three shots in terms of the story regardless of difficulty. The LTD/Laser Pointer takes more shots than that especially if you’re not using any other weapon alongside it. Again, as I said at the start of the video, it’s not easy to correctly identify which weapon is more powerful so a lot of this is very subjective with the info I had in front of me.
The reason I went rocket launcher over PRL comes from the use of it in canon deaths of giant monsters where as the PRL is one, only useful against parasitic creatures and two, it doesn't have any sequences used in canon kills of certain monsters. That's my reasoning for that.
That Railgun Jill used on nemesis Blew his fucking cap back lmao! 👀 but does anyone think at Tokyo game Showcase we can get RE news like wtf is going on???? I’m okay with CODE remake and zero even being released before RE9 let’s just get news on a title please……
Rumors suggest that we'll get a State of Play next week right before TGS and between those events RE9 will get announced with a release date of January
lmfao I implied that nukes and stuff don't count as that'll open the door for a ton of insane possibilities, like Terragrigia's satellite and all of the self destruct sequences of the series haha
I like your list but I think the rail gun is cheating. You said that the player gets to use. we only use it in one fight in one game. So technically I don't think it should count
As a funny bonus mention, I would’ve included the golden egg from the re4 remake. 2 of them take out Salazar instantly lol

As much as Wesker's Samurai Edge is badass with its wicked hammer dinging whenever you fire the gun
The S&W .500 Magnum in RE5 seems like the strongest of the magnums.
respect I still prefer the lightning hawk in that game though
@NerdSpaceGames yeah, faster rof. It's really fun giving Sheva an unlimited ammo magnum and watching her become competent all of a sudden. 🤣

The gauntlets from the RE7 Zoe DLC wasn't super powerful but it was so ridiculous/out of pocket just like the lightsaber in RE Village

RPG-7- overpowerful weapon, bro(especially- in the game: Resident Evil 5)!
you forgot the Knife of speedrunners xD especially Re2r
Wolfsbane in village is nuts. One round can drop numerous people and stun locks.
I love the wolfsbane!!! tbh I should have mentioned it in the video, but Colt Anaconda is still my favorite magnum.
Wolfsbane has bonus damage against lycantropes, STAKE has the most raw damage
My 2go gun and looks so nice and badass !
The most powerful weapon is the obligatory self destruct system at the end of each game!
lmfao if I went that direction, I'll have to start including nukes, missiles, and even satellites like the one that was used on Terragrigia haha
@@NerdSpaceGames I know, and I know the rules you said in the beginning, I’m just trolling!

You can see also in RE Vendetta how railgun is powerful 👍🏻💪🏻
Yes it penetrated several buildings

And nemesis actually directly tanked a Rocket Launcher shot, but not the railgun shot
In Russia, we've got: very powerful magnum, bro! Called: Rsh-12(Assault Revolver)! Nickname: Elephant Killer! Caliber: 12,7x55mm(S&W M500-loser)!
The self defense gun in REmake has 1 bullet no other ammo in the game for it. But it one shots anything in the game including tyrant.
Real life miniguns weigh aboit 600lbs with the power supply, without even worrying about the ammo. Boulder punching is onw thing, but Chriss carrying that ammo pack is a stretch.
lmfao I mean I still think the boulder punch is much more impressive
For all intents and purposes, has to be the infinite launcher in the RE4 and RE4 remake, no ?
Great list but silver ghost/sg-09r should’ve been number 1
nah its the cutscene that makes the enemies disappear
Number 1 is Chris' fists
