I have seen many small drivers needing only 2 phases input from mains but the servo will still get its 3 phase from the driver. How does that work?
The driver converts single phase to three phase internally 🤓

Dear sir,
Recently I am facing a problem regarding DELTA SERVO ASD-A2. In a cookies depositor machine I have installed 0.75kw ASD-A2 servo (ASD-A2-0721-M/ECMA-C10807RS), it runs at 2500rpm and found overheating of motor and output current was 3amps where rated was 3.5amps however I replace this motor with ASD-A2 servo (ASD-A2-2043-M/ECMA-J11020RS) installed yesterday now output current is very low but motor is getting overheating . Also note that I have done autotuning also.
Can you please suggest me what the cause of overheating.

Wrong circuit on reverse forward control wiring.Interlocks should be in series with the coil and not in series with the latching contacts for maximum protecrion of energizing both forward and reverse.Because you can still start each circuit by the push button.

hi sir, i have servodrive and motor and i want to operate servo through plc but i was facing problem .servo start without giving any pulse from plc ...i have npn type plc and i give (pulse+)from servo ,give 24vdc ,and servo start ..i am confused..tell me solution

Yes you can !
how to perform homing in this servo drive?
You have to define a sensor for homing position! And then just move your motor until the homing sensor is activated.

Some great information, but PLEASE strip out ALL unnecessary graphics from screen... we're spending a lot of time determining what is important and what is pretty graphics, background or irrelevant toolbars... it takes away from concentration
MrRUKidddingMe Dear there is nothing irrelevant in this video. Every graphic is connected in one or other way to the lesson content.
So the long sweeping grass on the left of the screen is part of the compressor or evaporator? The toolbars scattered all over the screen are part of the multi-phase controls??
