If you do homing on NL or PL sensor, you get an alarm too (AL014/AL015) - that sucs. It should be an option to ignore NL/PL alarms while homing or at any time.
I lost the parameters for Delta ASDA B2 servo drive after replacing it. the old servo drive is not responding to software so I loaded the opposite servo drive data but the motor need to run in reverse direction. any suggestions?
Hi, I want ask, my machine currently controlled by DVP28SV11T2 PLC and have 4 axis of servo motor(Servo Drive ASD-B3-0121-L ). If I want to add more servo drive axis, what I need to add to my machine?.Servo Drive? Extension module?
Hi sir we using the same drive it’s running forward speed in normal but in reverse it coming too fast because it was required but I want to make it same speed in reverse and forward so Plzz tell me what parameters I can changed for it plz advise
Please first make sure the command from Microcontrollers can be recognized by the servo, it could be via fieldbus such as EtherCAT or CANopen, pulse train or analog input. Then by following the user manual to configure related parameters properly, it will be able to work.
My preferred method is analog from the MCU and with the Delta drive in torque mode. This means that the MCU becomes responsible for closing the PID loop and generating the motion command profle. One of the many benefits of this is that; the drive becomes a simple transconductance amplifier....no complicated setup and if the drive fails and a Delta replacement is not available, then a different drive can be used. Torque mode means that the MCU can limit the motor torque by simply limiting the output of the MCU's PID loop (important to me). Furthermore, I do quite a lot of dual-loop control...Who cares where the motor-shaft is? I care more about the _load_ being in position. When using a load-mounted encoder, it's possible to use this feedback for the P-term and I-term and use the motor encoder for the D-term. I was awarded a big contract one-time, simply guaranteeing the customer that I could re-control his old machine and make it *more* accurate/repeatable than his new machine. I won 😁👍
This is a very useful video, thanks for the overview. I have 4x B2 drives that I would like to autotune for a gantry CNC router, but this doesn't seem to be available in AsdaSoft v5. Should I be using v4 for auto tuning of B2 drives?
Excellent tutorial and instruction, Thank you !

Thank you for the training.
I have a question. How to measure the power consumption of a servo drive system using this software?
Very nice teaching sir 👍

Hello. Tell me which B3 series servo motor will work with the ASDA-A2 series driver?
I m having problem running servo motor with my delta servo asda b2.can u help me out
Hello,is possible control servo with Arduino Mega and CN1 port (open collector) pin 37,39 and 41,43. What are the servo setting?
Great tutorial sir. I have a ASDA-A2R, my machine have having servo drive alarm but there are no alarm display on the drive. What else can I do?
Can we use it to drive induction motor?
how to enable digital input pulse clear, so that the display value in the puu menu changes to a zero value. what parameter values are needed...thanks
Is it me or that video was not for me , I have a asd-b2 . Where should I go/looking for video adapte to my situation ?

Can you explain, how to interface the same servo using Microcontrollers

@@DeltaIndustrialAutomationEMEA so the asda b2 will not function as such since those EtherCAT and CANopen are not available to B2 model?
@@kyleberlin7568 That is correct. EtherCAT and CANopen is not available with ASDA-B2 but with ASDA-A2, or the newer series ASDA-A3 and ASDA-B3.

How to get homing return when use PR MODE ?

@365evn Automation yup that's what I ended up doing. They work perfectly.
thanks for the (eventual) reply! :D
@365electricalvn use silicon labs 210x usb to uart cable. Then it will work with V.5
Well done sir thanks
Thanks but I still don't know how to command it from a PLC.
Very nicely
thank
