Hi about the change of direction.There aren't another way to change the direction (foward/reverse)without external circuit with relay?
For example with use 2 Digital Inputs, on CN1 connector, simple with 2 buttons as jog.(one for foward ,one for reverse).
With buttons you do it manually but to make it automatic you need a switching electronic circuit ;)

All videos are informative and I learned many things. Can I kindly request you to make some videos to measure the speed of existing machine by encoder and use two or three servo drives and motors using plc and HMI . Controlling paper tension, cutting on eye mark using eye mark sensor,draw rollers application etc. So we can learn how to measure the speed of machine using encoder and utilise for one of the applications above using HMI for set point or cut length depend on applications.

Hello, This is too complicated to explain without physical machine. If i get opportunity to see such machine, may then at that spot it would be better to explain how this has been program. And this is a big project what you just asked..so without hardware it is not really easy to explain,
@@thegeterrdone I understand but you have servo rig and if you connect encoder to any motor shaft to measure speed and you can use servo rig for different applications as mentioned above. This is just to understand how everything works. I know it is bit complicated but this is we use in real world. Please try if you can. Thanking you in anticipation of your kind cooperation.

i understood from this video that we can control the speed with two way: internal with switch or with potentiometer.
sir,when i control the servo position, can i change the speed only by changing the frequency of the pulses coming out from the plc,or i need to work with a potentiometer?!!!
To change the speed from PLC you should select Position mode in Servo, then you can change speed and position both from PLC
Is Available any video dual control mode (position+Torque)..

Yes.

How can I send speed reference from the PLC instead of analog potentiometer. Can I use step and direction to achieve speed control or any other way.
Yes, you can do that as well. In position control mode you can send Frequency and Position reference from PLC to servo driver to control speed and position. In velocity control mode you can use analog card interfacing to send analog signal to analog signal reference pin of Servo drive.

i used Omron PLC to control a servo motor, i give a pulses to servo by monitor screen, but i need someway to control the servo by a signal of color sensor, i don't speak english well ! but i can give you an example
if i give a servo to run 920 pulses, and i want the servo to stop at 905 pulses by the color sensor
the problem that the color sensor give the signal before the 905 i need take the signal when the servo become at the 905 pulse that's mean servo has 15 pulse to finish can i stop it before
