- Rarely-seen footage, this is the fourth day of O.J. Simpson's five-day deposition in the civil lawsuit brought against him by the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
This is the first time Simpson has answered questions under oath about his activities just before, during and after the murders.
Note: O.J. Simpson was deposed for the originally scheduled five days between Jan 22-Jan 26, 1996. One month later he was recalled & deposed for 4 more days (Feb 22-23 & Feb 26-27, 1996). In total, O.J. Simpson's deposition took 9 days.

He only admits to anger or violence when there is recorded evidence. When there is no recording, OJ is perfect, wonderful, loving and kind. When there is anger or violence it's minimal, passing, comedic. When he's confronted, he huffs, puffs, stretches, rolls his head, drinks water. A prolific liar, but not a convincing one.

A defining moment in his testimony is the anger, which clearly shows in his face, over Nicole being with another man, is not tempered one bit at the thought of the pain and devastating loss his children are suffering because their mother was brutally and suddenly taken away from them, causing a lifetime of pain and sadness. Unbelievable.
Nicole helped to cause the death of his youngest child with his first wife, she antagonized his first wife and she screwed his best friend. Nicole invited anger from lots of people... She was no angel.

To be more specific it’s Nicole “being with another man” and “drugs and hookers” being in the same house as his kids that gets him angry and makes him “still angry about it to this day”. Which it quite relevant to the night of June 12th.

When he actually answers questions with more than yes or no, he actually reveals A LOT of information. Including how incredibly controlling he was of her, even with little things.
Yeah, I was surprised. He’s required to answer every question one way or another, but he often gave far more info than needed. And his attorney didn’t stop him. But OJ loves to talk... especially when it’s to disparage Nicole.

See if he would have taken the stand in the criminal trial we probably all would’ve seen that rage. In the civil trial he had to take the stand. That’s why he lost that one. In my opinion, though they could’ve shown the jury in the criminal trial, and stabbing them to death, and they still wouldn’t let him go. I actually saw interviews that some of the jurors did where they said that the Black people needed to win because of the Rodney king beating. The trial just went off the rails, and there was no justice for two people that were brutally murdered. Nicole should’ve been able to raise her kids and poor Ron was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The punishment is the difference. If he had been found guilty in a criminal trial he would have gone to prison. In a civil trial the person is being sued for money. OJ was found guilty in the civil trial and was ordered to pay the family of a victim 33 million dollars.
@@texasbecky1 thank you. And was he obligated to take the stand in the civil trial? He didn’t have to in the criminal trial, what I found strange. I also wonder why the court never really made him pay this money to the families of the victims as this was the punishment. Thank you for the response.
@@luskapani9905 OJ did have to take the stand in the civil trial. And, he did really poorly on the stand. The courts do make him pay, but he often hid his money and earnings.

I give the civil judge credit for keeping cameras out to stop a circus atmosphere, but man I wish his testimony on the stand was recorded bc I've heard from many news people that he just melted on the stand esp about the Bruno maglis. Also not putting nicole down at all bc she was single but sounds like the had a thing with a lot of men in the two years they divorced to her death. Sounds like she was going through like a second childhood. The poor girl was involved with oj her entire adult life starting at 18. What shocked me most was that her freind or roommate after her very first date with oj said her Jean's were ripped. He asked what happened & she said " he got very sexually aggressive " I'm guessing they had sex. The friend said to the affect " nicole that's not good at all dont see him agsin & she said " oh but I really like him" man if nicole had just listened to that friend. Sounds like nicole was on the date , oj was a male whore & was very attracted to nicole ( if u see pics of her at that time she was gorgeous ) she probably made out with him but did not want to go farther & oj would not take no for an answer. I would not say he raped her but sounds like nicole was heavily pressured & she was attracted to him so he pushed it. It just caught my eye that out of everything the OP mentioned, at the time, you seemingly felt most strongly about Nicole having those friends. I’m probably also a bit sensitive b/c I’ve been rewatching the full depo, and some parts are heartbreaking.

The way OJ talks about Ron in his If I did it confession, (the one that was recorded and you can watch on TH-cam) OJ says that when he saw Ron at Nicole's condo that night, he didn't know Ron to he anybody. It was a dig. OJ is a narcissist and is not capable of telling the truth. These types take situations and twist them. I guarantee you Nicole wants the divorce, not OJ. He places blame on her, says she was into drugs, yet no drugs were found in Nicole's system, and no drugs in Ron's. The same with that low blow comment about how OJ didn't know Ron, "to be anybody." what he is trying to do here is minimize Ron's importance and OJ needing to have that centrality in Nicole's life, and she was breaking free. He didn't like that. A narcissist needs centrality and attention. So, OJ knew darn well who Ron was. It's another lie.

It's the civil. I dont think their are depositions for criminal matters. Their is questioning between lawyers & their witnesses or cops interrogating suspects but not really depositions unless I'm wrong

He states, "I don't remember taking off the glove but I must have because it was there on the ground." No accusations towards the police. No, I didn't have gloves, the police put them there. Nothing like that at all. Why not? He had free reign to say whatever he wanted.

As a UK crime investigation personel, based purely on DNA evidence, and the postioning of the blood in the bronco, oj for me is innocent of murder, i belive he may know more than he let's on and is clearly very much a man of his time in relation to DV, as sad as it is to say, hope Nicole has found peace u0 there, and OJ is left alone, his legacy as probably the best nfl player ever has been tarnished, such a shame for everyone evolved and all the misery this has caused

The detectives started the investigation in the early hours of the morning when the blood was all over the place, at both houses, bronco, his driveway, hallway, socks ect.. so how did it all get there???
And before anybody says it was "planted", they hadn't even seen OJ at this point, he was still in Chicago & they did not draw his blood until he arrived back the following afternoon.
You can't plant blood that you haven't yet drawn..
Ron's timeline exonerates OJ. There's no way Ron was at Nicole's at 1015. There were several witnesses that said they heard nothing until after 1030
