    I feel so bad for Kato at this point because I feel like he was being put on trial himself because of what happened. He was just trying to do the right thing by answering the questions honestly to the best of his ability. Marcia Clark sure didn't help much in that regard. SAD TO SAY KATO WAS IF NOT THE MOST CREDIBLE WITNESS. BAD MOVE FOR THE PROSECUTION TO USE HIM BECAUSE HE COULDNT POINT TO ANYTHING THAT COULD HELP PROVE THERE CASE. He never saw OJ abuse nicole he also did not show OJ to be jealous and overly possessive. Nor did OJ try to make him testify positively for him. And By Marcia pressuring her own witness and mistreating her shows malice and scorn for the truth.

    The purpose of a trial is to sway the jury. Period. Marcia forgot that. She attacked the most likable witness that the long-suffering Jury had seen so far, often on things that seemed unimportant. This opened the door wide for Shapiro to ride in and just simply be a nice guy. How in the world she was blind to that says a lot about her character.

      @Clint Walker - I admire Marcia Clark. However, she does come off a bit antagonistic at this trial. In fairness to Ms. Clark, she was up against a bunch of ALPHA DOGS who showed little respect to women in general. Bill Hodges was one of the original DAs who became ill and could not continue as a part of the prosecution. Bill Hodges ran a lot cooler than Marcia's temperament. The outcome of the trial MAY have been different if Bill Hodges stayed on; but probably not. I agree that Robert Shapiro has a much softer and easier approach. But then again, Robert Shapiro was a plea bargainer, not a trial attorney. Different set of attorney skills. Back to Marcia Clark, the media was terrible to her; always commenting on her hair and clothes. She was also a mother to two small boys and was going through a divorce at the same time of this trial. It's a wonder she didn't have a breakdown during this time.

    I have to comment again on just how fascinating the differences between teams is. Even all these years later it’s so stark. The defense, all of them, are just so much smoother and more prepared. They have a clear direction and story they’re telling with their clear and concise questions. Likable demeanor and professionalism. Marcia and Chris are constantly making faces when they’re frustrated, they can’t stay focused on a line of questioning, they can’t relate to the jury or even their own witnesses. The dream team should be charged with assault for the way they whooped these clowns. 😂😂😂

Ms Clark is always in bitch mode always sarcastic and rude to her witnesses except for the lieing police officers that would take the stand. On the surface it would seem stupid for Marcia Clark to question him that way, and also hypocritical when she seems annoyed at him with her personal.. idiosyncracies lol ; - But actually she seems to suspect him of being avasive aso, which seems to be supported by some behind the scenes stuff: The Chicago Tribune says in a March 27. 1995 article that Ito had granted the prosecution permission to treat Kato as "a hostile witness" .

    • @theroy7757
      @theroy7757 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kato was actually held in contempt when he repeatedly refused to answer in front of the Grand Jury too fyi... He kept saying "on the advice of my attorney, i must respectfully decline to answer and assert my constitutional right to remain silent" , they threatened him with being held in contempt, he spoke to his lawyer, then said it again, and was held in contempt.

    I agree, they gave no motive for murder's. Nichole wrote a letter asking to get back together and OJ broke it off. I mean, he left Kato's presence at 9:30..Ron Goldmen clocked out at 9:45pm, he lived across the street from work, changed clothes, and walked to nichole's. He lived roughly 5-10 mins walking distance. That puts him at Nichole's 10:10-10:15 pm. If OJ had been practicing nijia attacks on people with a kitchen knife...i might buy he could accomplish a double homicide in 30 min; hide the murder weapon and his clothes, get back home without having any blood on him, and all over his house. I mean, why would he change from a sweat outfit and sneakers to dress socks and shoes to chop people up? Nutz!

      Thank you! I have been saying that for years! Why would he have put on his dress socks and shoes to go kill them? (I would have sworn Kato said he was wearing sandals, no socks when they went to McDonalds, but I can't find it.) But he defiantly did not have on dress shoes. And how is it that if he cut his hand in the attacks, the glove was not cut, or had blood on it? (The one found at his residence) And why would he not just shoot her, he had plenty of guns. If it was a crime of passion then why did he just happen to have on a wool hat and gloves in June in California? Or the blood trail from the bronco to the foyer, why not a blood trail from where the glove was? It makes no sense. The person(s) who killed them is probably the same person who stabbed the other waiter (and friend) from the same restaurant. So nice to find another person who sees the socks as a clue. They were clearly tampered with, hence the stains, jumping off/on the bed and I believe chemicals they found on them.

      +KeggysUtube well...the glove didn't have a cut because it came off, thats why he cut his finger to begin with. He had a plenty of hats and gloves too, not to wear around LA on a June night, but to travel with. He was a football commentator after all. There were only something like 100 pair of those Aris gloves sold during that time period, and he owned one of those pairs. The shoes and socks were dark in color and in my opinion thats why he wore them to the murder. Maybe didn't own a pair of black running shoes, or maybe thats what he could put on quickly. We will never know. However what we DO know is that the bloody shoe prints were from size 12 Bruno Maglis. Simpsons very own. Anyone who knows anything about a crime of passion knows that stabbing someone is much more personal than a gunshot. And this was personal indeed. Ron Goldman was killed only because he came upon the murder of Nicole already in progress. Simpson didn't expect him to be there. Never heard Kato say OJ had on sandals without any socks however he did say he had on a dark jogging suit.

      Denise Munoz -- How do you feel now that he openly admitted to being the murderer? Why him confessing is even necessary is beyond me. His DNA was at the scene + The victims DNA was in his car. For any dirty police DNA planting to have happened, the police would've had to have somehow gotten his blood and then prayed to God that oj would somehow have cut himself by the time they saw him to discuss the murders... And miraculously, the day after the murders... He has a cut on his hand.... What a coincidence. It's been decades. Enough of the bs. He admitted it on camera!

      Kato knew exactly why he moved into OJ Simpson resident there's a lot more going on here than just Kato being a baby setter while Nicole Brown Simpson hangs out with whoever it was that she walked down to the front gate, because it wasn't Ronald Goldman because the front gate was broken according to the police report. Kato was happy to leave and OJ was happy to have him because it limited Nicole's ability to hangout at night with her friends. Kato was tired of being the scapegoat for Nicole's Brown Simpson's new lifestyle and that's why he jumped at the opportunity to move, but who would refuse free room and board, after all Kato was a free loader anyway, he wasn't paying Nicole Brown Simpson anything he was just somebody who she trusted, Kato, because he was a respectable person who didn't do drugs or hangout with a wild crew. OJ took the one person that Nicole Brown Simpson could trust away from her, but that didn't slow Nicole's lifestyle down, it really got even more. complicated then even OJ could imagine. There were so many people who couldn't be called in this case by the State and the Defense, because of their association with drugs and criminal behavior. Nicole's own sister was involved with a Mafia hit man that testified for the defense team. WTF....was really going on here?

    1:38:11 - 1:40:04 Awwww man! Kato, you sweet man! This minute and a half or so, broke my heart and endeared this good soul even more to me, he was so close to tears and then I had this build up of liquid in my eyes all of a sudden.
    Its amazing how you could tell from the way his eyes changed that he was on the verge. I just want to hug him. People just view these witnesses as meat, not as humans who suffered loss and have been put through the ringer, emotionally and mentally, no matter the gender. Hell, I even felt bad for the dreamteam's pawn Rosa Lopez, even though I knew she was lying.
    I was a blubbering mess at certain parts of Denise's testimony at the pre-trial and I don't cry easily, despite my soft squishy heart.
    And no, I'm not being a "girl" falling for a crying man, I've been stoic when certain exes have bawled in front of me. But when its *_truly genuine_* I empathise and cry along with them. There's nothing wrong with a man who cries ❤
